I don't mind staying where I am. I like watching over Homura-chan and everyone. Seeing everyone's smiles... I really like it! If I'm away, I  can't protect their smiles anymore. There's Homura-chan... and Kyoko-chan...Sayaka-chan, too, I'm sure they'd like this world.

No, I'm not scared anymore. I haven't been scared for a long time, because everything's going to be all right... but...

I guess, maybe it wouldn't be so bad for a little while.

Maybe I'll get lucky and get a cute partner, hm? That would be nice!

It'll be all right. The world I'm going to is different. Bad things may happen, but none of us can give up hope.

It may be different from our own world, but you may be sure it will have enemies and sorrows of its own.

Although I dislike disagreeing with you, I must. You must prepare for what you will find in front of you. You cannot become complacent in the hope that it will be an improvement upon your current fate.

I don't mind my current fate and I don't mind what's to come. [She gives a small smile.] But I don't want to assume things will be bad from the start! If I stop believing that things will be all right, when something happens... then there won't be any hope let!

You will remain the same in every world, it seems. [Yet despite her frequent harshness, she sounds approving as she says this.]

I don't think that's a bad thing. [Her voice is still gentle and she smiles softly.] Homura-chan is still Homura-chan in every world, too.

Perhaps we would have known each other better, and understood each other sooner, if I had not been.

I always knew you. Homura-chan will always be my dearest friend in every time.

I don't know. [She looks somewhat sheepish.] All I know is that I'm being sent to a different place.

Why should we have to be separated again? After everything that happened before we could finally find each other?

Homura-chan... [She speaks gently, her sadness hardly evident, as she shakes her head.]

We're never really separated. There's many yous and many mes. No matter where we are, we'll always be together. I believe that very much.

[That's a nod.] I think so. A few of the others seem to be scared, but I think we'll be all right.

Not to mention, adventure is a sure fire way to find the greatest gift in the universe, TRUE LOVE!

Are you a Digimon with a partner, then? [Considering.

Once upon a time I met a wonderful man. A brave brilliant man with shiny eyes and bright dreams. Dreams of freedom! I loved that man even though I'm a Mon and he was a human. And maybe someday I'll find him again!

I see. That's really sweet. [She gives a smile.] I hope that one day you do get to ind him again.

Of course you'd get a cute one. Who could see you with a giant, fire breathing dragon?

I don't know that for certain, Kyoko-chan! I really could get a fire breathing dragon, but a cute one would be nice.

Have you ever seen a cute fire breathing dragon? 'course not. You can only be one thing or the other - scary or adorable. Flying through the air burning down villages doesn't sound very cute, does it?

Ah, but I just meant a cute one in general! Besides, I bet people who have one that's a dragon think theirs is adorable! And there's some that really do look cute, because they're not really dragons.

[She laughs.] It's no more freaky than any other.

Yeah, but who'd want one of those? If I had a pet monster, I wouldn't want it to look like a pushover. Otherwise, people'll think they could walk all over us.

No more freaky than ours? Seriously?

But their strength comes from within. As long as they believe in that, even the cute ones won't be pushovers.

I am. There's just Digimon there instead of people.

[hungriest]

Probably takes a long time to train 'em like that, though.

So it's just a giant monster zoo? Jeeze. [she reaches inside the pocket of her hoodie, fishing out a half-empty snack-sized bag of chocolate covered pretzels.] Any Witches?

Maybe, but I think that's why everyone is needed.

They probably wouldn't like hearing that. [A pause before Madoka shakes her head.] No, there shouldn't be.

[hungriest]

Sometimes you don't got everyone to help out. Sometimes it's just you.

Well, they ain't here, are they? [she scarfs down a few pretzels, chewing slowly.] I feel like I already know the answer, but I'll ask anyway: will you be okay by yourself?

But that's why everyone is going. This time everyone can help out.

No, I was just saying. [At that she pauses a moment before shaking her head. The small, sad smile flits onto her lips.] Mhm, I'll have to be. Even when things get scary, so long as I'm there.
