[She flashes a grin.] What, is it an insult to be called a nerd? Because I have a friend who is a huge nerd, but I don't know. I think that's one of the things that works for him. Not everyone can pull that kind of thing off.

[Sally, you are drunk or something. Go home.] Seriously, though. These muns? Pain in the ass, just dragging people away from things they have to do. But they also happen to be stubborn.

[ the arch stare continues ] I'd say it's more insulting than whatever you accused me of doing.

I'm not worried about stubborn, trust me. The whole thing just [ he shakes his head ] is really not necessary right now.

[Hey. Look. She can do that, too.] You really think my calling you a nerd is worse than playing some basement-dwelling board game? Really?

[Shaking her head.] She seems to think so.

[ neal's thinking the best strategy for this one is to let her keep talking and shoveling at the same time ]

[Her grin gets intensely wider because this is her favorite part. She can talk to people and introduce herself. So just deal with her hand thrusting out towards you, Neal.] Hi, I'm Sally.

[ he goes to shake it ]

Nope, I'm pretty new myself. Just, you know. Hanging around until she decides to return me to my new life and all.
