What I don't think you realize is that with Team Galactic defeated, Dialga safely contained, and the Championship behind me, this is the safest time to take me and put me somewhere. There's no looming threat back home that needs every able bodied trainer to tend to it. For the moment, there's peace.

Saturn is worse than not having a successor. He'll cause a power struggle that he'll probably lose, but it'll cost the Team most of its' power in the process. You might literally be better off on your own this time.

You forget what it took to create a Red Chain, and how you had a lot of people back then to help you make it. And you forget that even with it, you lost. Now you're minus support, a weapon, secrecy and a new plan. Meanwhile, I'm up an array of Legendary Pokemon and in contact with a slew of powerful Trainers.

Arceus disregards its creation. Were it to listen, I would have no need to act. Yet that I do shows that it is an ignorant being, one unworthy of its position.

I have lost no memory of that effort. Do you believe that there is only one way to create such a thing? The data obtained in that attempt is more than sufficient to create as many Red Chains as are needed. The spirits of the lake will not disrupt my plan, as well, as their involvement has long passed.

And where have emotions gotten us? What have they given us? War, hatred, suffering--all because of those rotten chemical reactions. And that people claim to be happy in their small lives gives itself to turning away from those greater issues, permitting them to continue rather than evoking a sense of responsibility.

That you claim free will as a defense when it has spiraled out of control only shows your arrogance and delusion. There can be no peace, no freedom, in a world gripped by emotion.

It is far more akin, using electronics analogies, to reconfiguring and rebooting a virus-ridden computer. All dangerous flaws erased, it functions at its best. Though it must also be monitored to ensure that those flaws remain absent, unthinkable in a clean and pure format.
