I appreciate your hard work, mundane. But the fact of the matter is that most places would probably be reluctant to let me take my Pokemon with me like you desire. Personally, I agree with the games on this. It isn't fair I be allowed to bring in back up when the rest of the people there can't. That would basically be cheating and that's something I just don't do.

Yes, you're nervous about putting me somewhere without my team. I understand that. They're a part of me, my family away from home, and I wouldn't enjoy the separation either. What I don't think you realize is that with Team Galactic defeated, Dialga safely contained, and the Championship behind me, this is the safest time to take me and put me somewhere. There's no looming threat back home that needs every able bodied trainer to tend to it. For the moment, there's peace.

So I'm ready to do this whenever you are. Just let me know when.

Yeah. Not that many from Sinnoh itself, but I've met quite a few trainers from other regions.

We all have five of them with us, as far as I know. Apparently, that's the limit.

Hmm... well, I suppose I'll have to pick someone to leave home. I'm not sure whether or not to bring Dialga.

I'm not sure Legendary Pokémon would be allowed... but even still. Leaving one behind because you have to isn't much easier than picking one to leave behind.

My Mom's a big fan of Dialga. She cooks for him and they watch soap operas together. I suppose I could trust him to stay with her, but Team Galactic fragments might be lingering out there. She's not a fighter...

Yeah, but he's a bit scared of Dialga. Not sure why.

Well. It is a Legendary Pokémon, capable of making and totally screwing up our entire notion of time. Can't blame him, really.

Dialga is a person like any other Pokemon, and one who helps us exist. And Dialga was totally content not to be on Earth until Cyrus screwed that up for everyone.

Well... yes, actually. I've never been afraid of Pokemon. People are weird. Pokemon make sense. [Social skills, what are those?]

That's kinda true, I guess. Pokémon are more sincere than we are, most of the time.

And reliable. I know I can count on my Pokemon, even when things get crazy.

Your friends should be reliable too, right? [ ... ] So I guess what I'm trying to say is... take a chance on your friend. I don't think he'll let you down, if you ask him to take care of one of your Pokémon in your place.

[ time for the smoothest topic change ever: ] What've you been up to? Since you became Champion, and all that.

Mostly filling up my Pokedex. It's taking longer than I expected, but it's allowed me to start getting some good breeding stalk for Pokemon. Unexpected moves are good for battling.

Regional? Or National?

... You might end up having to travel to other regions if it's the latter, I guess.

National. I'm about at the point where I'll depart, though of course I have to make arrangements with my parents and friends. They worry if I don't check in, as if something could happen that could be any weirder or worse than what we already went through.

Thinking of Unova or Isshu. Somewhere people have some respect for Champions so I don't feel my age so often. Besides, they have some strange type combinations out there. Might come in handy.

I hear Unova's new Champion's a kid, too. [ ... ] It's pretty different there, though. Not that it's a bad thing.
