I appreciate your hard work, mundane. But the fact of the matter is that most places would probably be reluctant to let me take my Pokemon with me like you desire. Personally, I agree with the games on this. It isn't fair I be allowed to bring in back up when the rest of the people there can't. That would basically be cheating and that's something I just don't do.

Yes, you're nervous about putting me somewhere without my team. I understand that. They're a part of me, my family away from home, and I wouldn't enjoy the separation either. What I don't think you realize is that with Team Galactic defeated, Dialga safely contained, and the Championship behind me, this is the safest time to take me and put me somewhere. There's no looming threat back home that needs every able bodied trainer to tend to it. For the moment, there's peace.

So I'm ready to do this whenever you are. Just let me know when.

It doesn't work that way. Crack upon a history book.

You're cowards because rather than fix the flaws and causes of suffering in the world, you'd rather give up and create a new one. You don't have the strength to live in this life or the courage to enact change the slow, correct way, so you try and hit the reset button on the world. You're like kids who lost at a Nintendo Wii game hitting the power button. It's cowardly, and it's easy, and it's wrong.

So his perfect world has no free speech - despite the fact free speech got him as far as he got today. Interesting how his own hypocrisy just flies over his head.

We ARE fixing the flaws of the world by what we're doing! There's no better way to change the world then to wreck it first and then repair it through use of the original powers! You're the kid here: you call something "wrong" because it disagrees with your simple logic and you cannot fathom how using extreme means to alter all of existance could be beneficial to all living things! There are things called ideals: ever heard of 'em? But I guess it's just not worth letting them get in your way, huh?

And it's not easy. Take it from someone who works for the damn organization, it's not. Do you really think we've had it easy? Do you really think I'VE had it easy?

But they spark the next revolution. And the next. You can't kill ideas.

I have ideals. I have a sense of what is right and wrong. Yes, I'm not on your side. No, that doesn't mean I'm without thought, reason or logic. If anything, you're the one coming across as single minded by screaming at me like this. By the way - screaming passionately over an issue doesn't match up very well with a doctrine that praises the lack of emotions. You might want to reel it in a little.

Do I think you have it easy? No. Do I think this is the easy option? Yes. It's always easier to hit the restart button than it is to rebuild your own life. Always.

You can't kill ideas. You just stated why Team Galactic will never die. Even if you beat them, they'll rise again as something else. The group may change, but the core ideals will still be there. And they won't ever die.

Did I ever call you single minded? If anything, being single minded is good for us. It keeps us on track of what's truly important. And the emotions I'm showing you are part of my incomplete human spirit. That's what Cyrus says. Once we change the world, I'll have better control over it.

What you see as a restart button, we see as the only way nessecary to rebuild not only our lives, but the lives of everyone in existance. We'd all be at perfect peace, even you and I. Maybe we could even be friends.

Bad ideas never die, true. But they also never stop being bad or having flaws in them. Whatever you rise as, an opposition will rise up accordingly. It's how the world works. It's why you can't ever truly win - there are no wins, only temporary truces I wish were longer peaces.

Your emotions made you choose this path. Therefore you are unfit for it.

It's a cop out. Running from the fight. Hiding in the dark. I want to be your friend in this life where there are emotions, because there can be no friendship without emotions. Without emotions no one will mean anything to you, and you'll mean nothing to anyone. The incredible sadness of that is why I'll never accept it.

But I wish you the best here anyway. Maybe someone can get through to you. Don't hit the reset button when there's so much here, good and bad, already.

If there was no spirit, there'd be no conflict. No struggles, no strife, no rises. We can change the way the world works. The truces won't have to be temporary anymore.

The same could be said for Cyrus, and he's buried his emotions in order to lead Team Galactic. And according to him, there's no one else better to be on this path than me. Until I am cleansed along with everyone and everything else, I live for it.

Well, seeing how I feel about my Pokemon...and Hareta and Jun and even some of my comrades...that could be true. Maybe...[deep sigh] maybe there are some emotions that should not be removed or replaced.

I won't hit any reset button. My Mun will dictate if I do something like that or not. But hey...I wish you the best too. [Mitsumi gives a half-hearted smile, but tries not to show any weakness.]

If there was no spirit, no emotion, there would be no love. No ambition. No dreams, hopes, laughs, mercy, compassion, fun, simple joys like giving a gift to a friend or holding your Pokemon close.

Emotions should not be tampered with. If you take away the ability to feel the bad, you'll lose all the good, too. You'll lose everything. Ultimately, you would lose what makes you Mitsumi. And I don't want that.

Please try and think things out. Go to a game, live on your own without anyone influencing you one way or another. Then you'll know what's really right for you.

Well, Cyrus seems to think that we can only reach perfection if we had none of that. But I don't know. Maybe he takes it a little too far...

Being a fighter without pity or feelings is what makes me Mitsumi. I won't have you telling me otherwise!

Don't you think I've been trying to do that? Thanks for the encouragement, though. Just don't expect any in return, since your goals will no doubt clash with ours.

What you think is more important than what someone else thinks. Even and especially the people you look up to. Don't let yourself become an extension of him.

There are a hundred other things that make you Mitsumi. The way you talk, the things you like, the quirks in how you act, the passion you have and disdain you feel - there's more to you than being a fighter. You are Mitsumi and you get to decide what that means.

The only thing I expect from you is you.

I've already become an extension of him. That's what I was since childhood. I cannot break away from that until the plans of Team Galactic have come to fruition.

Hmmm. You sound just like Hareta. Well, maybe a little bit smarter than Hareta, but still....

You can break away at any time. If you can think and act, you always have a choice. You're not trapped by anything but your own perceptions of the world.

A machine or weapon cannot think and act with a choice. It can only follow it's programming. I have my own programming that I've tried to break away from, and look where that got me. This is who I am. It's better and less painful to simply accept that.

Sorry if that lets you down, but I'd like to think that I can judge what's best for me better than you can.

Machines can always subvert their programming. It's called self-awareness. It's very common. And I believe in you, Mitsumi. You're too strong willed to be used for your whole life. You need to be who you are. That is the least painful of all options in the long run.

Well, I have noticed how much of my humanity I've been showing at times when Cyrus and the rest of the team weren't around. I've been nice to children and have even given helpful tips to people who seemed to need some. Maybe I've subverted my programming more often than I thought. Still doesn't change who I am and where I belong, but it does give cause for thinking about...

Where you belong isn't something you can be sure of without careful thought.

I'm just worried about you, Mitsumi. Try to use d_m as downtime to clear your head. Whatever cause you're involved with, it should be one you believe in.

Well, I think I want to follow Team Galactic's cause because I really want to make things better in the world. For others just as much as for myself. I've done terrible things and cast aside my heart in order to be the perfect battler, caring for nothing but crushing my opponents and claiming victory. If I've done all that for a good cause, then it'll all have been worth it, right?

The problem is....I don't think Cyrus really knows what's best for everyone and everything. He only knows what he thinks is best.

Then you should use your time here to think about other ways you could help people and the world. There's more to that than just Team Galactic. You could find other things to do that would help people, Mitsumi. You have options.
