...what?

I hardly think that this is going to be interesting. No, I do not want to go. Do I LOOK like I need cheering up? I'm perfectly content as I am. No, I do not think it would be fun to find that annoying mage. I'm glad to be rid of him.

This is me, content. I do not wish to "game".

Because man is not a creature to live in 'contentment'.

If nothing else, this is the truth I have seen through the centuries.

Oh! How rude of me; I beg your forgiveness.

I am Master Albert, of the Sage Trinity.

It is my title, assigned as a member of the Sage Trinity.

Where I am from, the Sage Trinity helps the governments of the world, and help guide the recovery of the world from the great Maverick Wars, and the Cyber Elf Wars that have ravaged the surface.

But if I had to choose another reason ... I am also quite the ... craftsman, if I may confess. I build-- clockwork beings to aid me.

An odd turn of phrase for a name, I know, but it seemed fitting at the time for them. They are, or were, creatures of a digital dimension. Some offered aid, but others were of great danger, as proven by the great Dark Cyber Elf.

It's a long story.

These elves are more like ... spirits, I suppose.

But it is now ancient history. Instead, man continues to evolve, to reach its extreme.

The other dimensions do indeed exist! Other worlds, as I have learned, and new paths that humanity and its fellow sentient life have taken!

And in all of them, there is the same bleakness, that empty misery that exists at evolution's extreme.

For all that these worlds differ, for all the near-infinite variety ... the propensity that sentient life shows for war is a dismal constant.
