Quoth the Raven
A H H H . . .
What foolish human has awakened me? Still, you may be of further use.
A heart! Bring me a heart - and perhaps I will not devour yours.

Because of course hearts would ping KH people. Also, that journal name. A+
[Because that's all Sora knows that eats hearts.]
Thank you, delicious friend!
[Peers at Sora. Hungrily.]
Also you are great for playing him. ob
[He may have a heart but it's... Just barely at this canon point on his AU.]
I figured it might be fun to mess around with him.
[A prince, is it?]
Tell me, little Prince, why would you have those without hearts as your subjects?
Good choice. He's an excellent villain.
He's not bad, he's just written that way! (Lies, he's all bad.)
If being heartless is what you desire, that is a wish that can be granted right now!
...gkjfdj I GOT THE REFERENCE...
Sorry. Father says I'm not ready, and I don't bow to any other kings.
:>
A Prince who despises other humans is hardly enough for me. Bring me one with a heart that is pure and full of love so that I may regain my strength! In return, what is left of their body can be yours.
I like you, BTW. /o/
[He'll even recite his father's memorized writing if he has to!]

That is what you hope to be, one day? A heart that has crumbled, and always seeking more? Foolish little child!

Not all Heartless are like that. Only the ones the look like monsters. But then there's a whole other class, like my father. Those who give their heart willingly to the darkness and become a creature that walks its roads can retain both form and intelligence, and they're all the stronger for it. Why live for a limited time with fragile bonds, surrounded by people who will abandon you, when you can instead become an immortal creature that has no need to worry about those things? Heartless always watch each other's backs, like a hive of ants.
no subject
Ha ha ha... Perhaps I am already like one of your Heartless. Bonds do not matter to me. I shall devour hearts and one day gain an unending life when I find the most noble, and delicious, of hearts!
AHHHHHHHHHHHH WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME AND WHY DO I LOVE IT?!?
[Big words from such a small Knight but Lohengrin isn't about to back down.
Or thinking too much about his own personal safety.
You're not supposed to die yet! Why are you doing this?!]why hello :>

You may be my end but that doesn't mean I'll meet you gently.

Sacrifice yourself as much as you desire!

Not the sword Fakir will eventually carry but a different blade.]
This ought to be interesting. Justice will not aid me this time. It's my skill against your crows.
[But he still expects to fell them as easily as he did the intruders on his wedding night.]

A brave feast has been prepared! Today, all shall eat!

In this moment, he is not Sir Lohengrin, Prince Siegfried's Knight.
He is the Knight of the Swan, Lady Elsa's Champion.]

The Knight of the Swan is completely ruthless as he shoves his foot into a crow's face, propelling himself forward and further into the fray.]

(Oh my, what's this? says someone, somewhere. Will a Knight who has lost so much also lose what he has left?)]
Fight, my crows, until his strength is stolen.
no subject
Yes! Take my strength! Accept my vengeance! And if you should win, know that you only succeed in reuniting me with my Elsa!

But then there's the quiet sound of a tenor.]
The sweet song dies away; we are alone,
alone for the first time since we saw each other.
Now we can be remote from the world,
no listener near our hearts' avowals.
Elsa, my wife! Sweetest, purest bride!
Confide to me now whether you are happy!
[It looks like there's a spirit going to meet his wife.]
(Bravo! A wonderful tragedy this has been!)

Shoo. Go on, get out of here.
[waves his journal at it, grumbling as his eyes water.]
Why do I have to be allergic to birds...
no subject
More crows drop down near him, heckling him with a flap of their wings or raspy caw.]
no subject
All right. Fine.
[starts climbing down the roof carefully, so as to avoid the whole "slipping on a raven or wet shingle" bit]
