Comforting a Mun's thoughts on S3
Mundane.
Please, do not grieve for me, not until you've seen the season. Life takes many twists and turns, and a trailer often has many false leads. You should know this from season 2. But if that is the case, I do not mind my sacrifice. Perhaps it is time for a change...and while I may not be there, I hope you will treat the new Prime with as much loyalty and admiration as you have shown me.
This war is dark, but know there will be light at the end of the tunnel. I have a feeling the show will reach a satisfying conclusion.
But until then, know that I will always be here as your muse.
Your friend.
Your Prime.

i don't know why he does this, i'm sorry
it wouldn't be Megatron if he didn't!
The fate of our kind is worth more than any one of us.
Including myself. And you.
what an obnoxious guy, seriously
Fitting words, coming from the one who doomed our planet.
no subject
Cybertron is merely a home. I may have doomed our planet, but our survival is one I wish to preserve, not destroy.
Perhaps you are confused on your role in that.
no subject
In the end, everything you have done was in vain.
no subject
You fail to understand that life goes on, with...
or without you.
[He may have put more oomph on the 'you' there.]
no subject
no subject
Arcee. You are aware of your objective.
no subject
I won't let you down.
no subject
You never have.
no subject
Not gonna lie, it won't be easy without you. Then again, it was never easy to begin with.
[So really, it's just going to get harder. There are dragons now, Optimus. Dragons.]
no subject
I would not leave you to fight alone.
Perhaps...I am not the last of the Primes.
no subject
[Especially if the trailer is anything to go by. You're her Prime, Optimus.]
no subject
[His head dips slightly. This is hard.]
Should the worst happen, I want you to treat the new Prime with respect. The respect you would have shown me.
no subject
...Or she could just do this for Optimus.]
I'll try. If only because of you, Optimus.
no subject
You have a duty. You're a soldier, forever and always. But more importantly, you will always be a friend.
Family.

no subject
I am positive you will keep Miko safe.

This season will be tough. But...we Autobots are known for turning tables at the last second.
no subject
I...aint lookin' forward ta followin' a new Prime. [He looks away. He joined Optimus' team for a reason, switching to a new leader was going to be difficult.]
no subject
Perhaps I was the reason that the war could not come to an end.
[He places a hand on the Wrecker's shoulder, eyes slightly saddening. He doesn't want you to be upset...]
no subject
no subject
[Wat.]
I beg your pardon.
no subject
[Coughs.]
I mean how's the fight against the communi--I mean deceptiwhatsits.
no subject
[No sense of humor, this one.]
...Have we met.
no subject
Lessee how can I phrase this in a way that won't shatter his preconceptions of reality...
Let's just say I've watched you guys once or twice and thought you were ok, cept for all those fruity speeches. What is this, Shakespeare?
[Crow this is not G1.]
no subject
My apologies. I am not familiar with this Shakespeare.
no subject
...warp it is.]
See, Shakespeare was one of our most famous playrights. It began when he released his musical West Side Story to the public in 1965, a tragic tale of love between rival latino gangs the Romulans and the Klingons. It's famous for such songs as I feel pretty, oh so pretty~ and much more!
Then Shakespeare took a daring approach when he released his horror masterpiece the Evil Dead, a story of young backpackers possessed by the Republican party. Only by taming his pet shrew does Bruce Campbell defeat Reagan's army of the undead.
no subject
[Just...this face. No really, you've left him speechless.]
no subject
Isn't human culture great? Next time I'll take you to see Roadhouse, a true American classic.
no subject
....Id rather we didn't lose you though, OP.
no subject
...I am afraid things must change if we are to win this war. If that is...my existence, perhaps it is for the better...
But let us not cast judgement so quickly.
no subject
[Hes barely been involved in the war and he's already exhausted. He can't imagine his you feel, Dadbot.]
Right..yeah..things could still turn out okay...
no subject
[And he is. Smokescreen, Arcee, Bulkhead...Bumblebee...none of them deserved this war.]
I promise, they will.
No matter what happens.
[A hand places itself on Smokescreen's shoulder, warmly.]
no subject
[And he idolizes you for it. Really, he does.
His doorwings give a twitch when that hand rests on his shoulder and there's a moment of pause before he gives into temptation and moves forward, arms wrapping around Optimus' waist to hug him tightly.]
1/2
no subject
Slowly, those arms rest on his back, pressing him close in a 'hug' of his own.]
Til all are one.
no subject
His optics dimmed as he pressed his forehead against the other's chest, a shudder running through him that caused his doorwings to quiver slightly.]
...Till all are one...
no subject
But it is nice to see that you never change. Where would we all be if the noble Optimus Prime stopped being who he is?
no subject
[What is sarcasm.]
I am merely speaking the truth. When it comes down to the survival of our race, it is more than just a battle for our home. It is a battle for everyone who has been swept into our affair.
And no one life is worth more than the entire war.
