Yes, I'm aware that we're approaching the one-year mark-- but as it's hardly any sort of record, I don't see what there is to celebrate. It certainly isn't grounds to want me injured, or- or caught up in anything unusually ridiculous, simply because you think I've not suffered enough already.

February was... horrifically eventful, and you really needn't make a habit of it. Between the de-aging madness and the Valentine's event-- it all seems to have existed solely for me to make a fool of myself in front of, of... several individuals. I'd be glad to let the entire mess be forgotten.

A quiet month would not go amiss, assuming you're capable of such a thing.

No, it-- it's not inaccurate. There's been a... a truly appreciated lack of instances wherein the world tries to end, perhaps it's left me overly hopeful.

I-- yes. Her reluctance on that front is, um, very nearly reassuring. Though she does feel very strongly that I ought to be knocked unconscious sometime in... the worryingly near future. [ A whole year with no head injuries? That's just not how Giles' life works. ]
