Crack AU Clu1 Dog (Tron) says hi!

[Oh hey, there seems to be a big, derpy yellow lab wandering around. How did he get here? Who knows. But he's got a white collar with a yellow name plaque on the back. The writing on it probably won't make much sense to anyone who doesn't read binary, though:

Hanging from the collar is a bauble in the shape of a neutral Bit, and if one looks carefully, softly glowing yellow circuits can be glimpsed through the fur.

[Dog. Hey, Dog. Dog-thing that smells of familiar-hacker. Have a GIANT CAT. Dumont has seated himself in his I/O tower doorway and is giving you all the amused, suspicious study. Can't fool a guardian, Clu-dog.]

[Clu-dog looks up at the extremely large cat. In fact, he has to back up a bit to get a good look.

And keeping a bit of distance between them sounds like a good plan. He's not normally afraid of cats, but Dumont is hardly your ordinary housecat. More like Arnold Schwartza-kitty.

You get a slightly wary tail-wag, though, as he checks you out, Dumont.]

[Not so weird if said dog is also a computer program. But still, the dog just wags his tail a bit taking the opportunity to sniff the girl who bends down to read his collar.

And hi, Nena! Clu leans happily into the pats, a derpy dog grin on his face and his tail wagging a bit more.]

[Clu-dog's tail wags at the sound of his name, but otherwise he just gives you a curious headtilt at the question. Nothing happened. he's always been a dog-program, silly!

Then ear scritchings commence and he leans into them because aaawww, yeah that feels nice...]

[Chell notices the dog. And hey. She's not seen too horribly many dogs. But there are some around the Castle.

So, she wanders closer and studies the name plackard...]

[It takes her a few seconds. Living in a laboratory for god only knows how long will do that to you. But she knows the language. Once answered an essay question on her application for Aperture in it. Well why not test a theory?

Wandering over to the dog, she flops down and offers a hand to sniff. And then she starts writing...]

[Sadly Clu-dog, while a program, is still a dog-program, and thus can't read. Nor could he answer you verbally, Chell, for similar reasons. However, he understands speech pretty well, and thus gives what's unmistakably a nod when you mention binary.
