Ah, Ink City? It sounds... interesting!
But I'd rather continue looking for Melan and my family. I need to find them.
Please let me find them Mun.
[She stares off blankly into the distance. No, she can't see. Sudden blindness is fun like that.]
I'm arriving blind too, huh...
[That's going to suck in a multitude of ways, but she finds it doesn't bother her too much. At this point Marin has learned that the only thing she can do is to just... push on. Keep going. Things will turn out alright eventually.]

Melan? Melan!
[She instantly starts edging towards the voice as fast as she dares, her hands reaching in front of her. He's there and she has to get to him.]
Where are you?

[Marin can hear the usual 'whoosh' of Melan's wings.]
I will find you. I promise. Just.... stay put.

Melan, I can't see...
[She obeys and sits carefully down. Melan will find her, she's sure. She trusts him enough to believe in that.]

I will be here soon.
[And true to his words, Melan lands a few minutes later, huurying toward his charge and kneeling in front of the young human. He doesn't dare to touch her for now, fearing that he would somehow hurt her.]
I am here, Marin. You are safe.

[Marin has no idea who that is. It quickly leaves her mind though when she hears Melan land close to her. Tears prick at her eyes as she reaches out and touches his face. Yes, it's him... he's right there with her. She takes a deep breath and wraps her arms around his neck.]
Melan...
I sensed you were in danger... I went out to find you.
I'm so glad you're okay.

I am alright, Marin. But thank you. We can't be kept separated for long, it seems.
[Slowly, as gently as he can, he wraps his arms around her, mindful of the edge of his sword.]
I am... very, very happy to see you again. Everything will be alright now.
