Well, sure. I belong here as much as anywhere. Everywhere. However you want to look at it. But framing a concept as big as me for something as small as any of this can be a bit constraining. Not impossible, sure, but you might not like your limits. I can deal with mine. After all, it's just a game.

I don't judge, Travis. I perform my function. If I have to perform it more than once for the same person, well, it's not unheard of. Especially around here. But that's a writer for you; never quite satisfied with just one ending.

Others have popped you into limitations before.

Some aspects of me, sometimes. But it never lasts. And it's always less successful than they think. I'm one side of the big coin. I was here when the first thing was born, and I'll be here when the last thing dies.

There are other characters in this headspace who would know more about that than I would. but in the confines of this existence, things are pretty limited.

This existence, yes. The writer says jump, I jump. And I don't really mind, she's nice enough about it. But this is just one existence, Raven. I'm everywhere, all the time.

Hello, Vlad. It's not really a facade. I'm me, as much as I ever am. An anthropomorphic personification of me, anyway.

You appear much more... lively - for lack of a better word - than when you have defended my castle from the Belmonts.

That was just one aspect of me, and there are many. That's the funny thing about concepts... and I'm a pretty big concept, after all.

That is a good way to look at it. Of course, you would be surprised how many of us happen to get invested in a good "game".

[case in point, him. RED. BLU. everyone in between. his employers have taken cheating death to a whole new extreme all for the sake of keeping theirs going. sore losers.]

If we're going to be metaphorical here, it's a little bit more than just a game when there are lives at stake, isn't it?

Some games have high stakes. But as long we're just talking about me, they're stakes I can handle. But you're right. I can imagine a lot of people aren't quite so happy with the situation.

Of course you can handle them. No matter where you go or what happens to you, you can just pick up where you left off. It'll be business as usual for you.
