[Disbelief. Shock.. She really needs to hear this from Emma herself to fully believe it.]

You saw him? And you say that Henry has his eyes... [A light chuckle as she raises a hand to the back of her neck.] Wait until Charming hears about this... I suppose that Henry has another Grandpa... [Not to mention that the whole Charming family is related to Rumple...in a sense.]

[She shakes her head. Though mostly convinced, she is still unsure of how to handle the news. Rumplestiltskin doesn't exactly seem to her to be the 'fatherly' type.]

I honestly had no idea, Henry. But you should give Emma a chance to explain. [She offers a small smile, crouching to take Henry's shoulders reassuringly.] Emma told you the things that she did because she thought it was best at the time.. She never meant to hurt you.

[She frowns...Perhaps she phrased that poorly. She knew that Emma had been lying.. the fireman story..- but Rumplestiltskin's son wasn't even in her farthest thoughts.]

I never knew very much about your real father, Henry. Emma doesn't like to talk about her past. But yes...I did know that he was alive.

[This is hard. So hard. She's trying desperately to make the situation better...to explain things- but it's breaking her heart to see him crumbling.]

Emma didn't have a...- [She hesitates..] She didn't have her mother and father to take care of her as she grew up. She's still learning...still growing herself.

[To be fair, Rumplestilskin's son being his dad was not the issue. The issue was that he was lied to about his father being dead.]

She didn't have to lie though. I could have handled it...

[And Snow could have convinced her to tell him the truth. Snow's only get a partial break because she was still cursed when he was told about the lie.]
