I don't know what you think you're doing, but - I suppose I should thank you for the icons. So, thank you. I know you were doing them because you enjoy drawing, but it's nice just the same, to...to keep my face, I suppose.

That said, I can't say I understand why you're doing this. You've no intention of sending me anywhere - fair enough. So why make this post for me? Your backlog of other tags is getting ridiculous.

No, I'm not going to 'play nice' and pretend that this is anything other you procrastinating. Everyone has things that must be done, you know. I need to return to my room and plan out the next battle.

I have a little headache from trying to think about how some things work in this place because you're the third you I've seen here, and it's really weird having to call you Mother when I'm so used to calling you Father. [Her mundane has a favorite saying for stuff like this: "timetravel sucks". Sometimes, this saying applies to alternate universes or timelines as well.]

But aside from that, I've been well! What about you? You're not overdoing it, are you?

It's good to hear that. I've been all right, aside from, well, the usual. [Y'know, permadeath and the RNG being a spiteful god and all that.]

So the fight against the Risen is still raging on even for you? [The cheeriness dies out here and there's a bit of a melancholy tone to her words now; the words "the usual" did not go unnoticed and they carry a little something of a negative implication, all things considered.] Please tell me everyone's still alright.

Unfortunately, yes. Or rather - my mun hasn't decided what point to bring me from yet. Everyone's just fine, though. [Hi Morgan, you have a gentle headpat coming your way. :3] Nobody's dying on my watch.

[Though, again, the RNG is a spiteful god who sometimes only gives one or two stat ups in a level up. Grumble grumble.]

[That's why Morgan looks up to her father, idolizes him, even in some ways considers him a rival. The outlandish and unexpected plans for some of the situations they've been in are no small part of this, either.]

If one thing is set in stone, it's that this alternate!parent is from after Chapter 9 - so that smile turns just a bit wistful upon being reminded of that.] Though sometimes no amount of planning or forethought can prepare you for something happening...all the more reason to keep on your toes though, right?
