[Damian meets Drake's look with one of his own, on the lookout for anything approaching pity, anything he can use as an excuse to fight him again. Damian could use an excuse to punch someone. And Grayson would never need to know, right?]

[Does Damian finally have the same interests as other boys his age? Eh, unlikely. But he has become accustomed to certain things since staying with Father.]

[A smirk tugs at his lips. Tim knows that look well. Paradisa robbed him of the memories of the death of his father and Conner. When he found out about his father, he tried picking several fights with Steph because arguing was better than dealing with his emotions. It is the way of the bat.]

All of the above and every video game console you can think of. But there's no internet there, so computers are not nearly as useful as they are here.

[If Damian is still looking for a change of emotion, he'll get it now. Sympathy and a touch of sadness flicker into his eyes.]

[Immediately, Damian's shoulders tense again, his nearly-constant frown returning in full force.]

Tt. I can take care of myself, Drake. You should worry about yourself more.

[He holds his hands behind his back and fights the urge to pace.] Are there any places with Father there?

[Because Father can't simply not exist in this messed-up cyberworld all these morons inhabit. A world without Father... Damian isn't keen on living through that again. On the other hand, if Father isn't around, video games aren't a bad way to pass the time until he is around.]

[Frowns at his response, although the reaction's not unexpected.] I know we don't always get along, but that doesn't mean I don't or can't worry.

[Switches gears, focusing on his next question.]

My mun is in a couple of places where there is a Bruce. One of them has two Bruces in it. One from our world, one from another. You're already there, but it accepts people from multiple universes. The other place has a Bruce from a different universe, one of the ones Jason visited on that weird trek he took across the universe, but you're too young to go there.

But Damian isn't thinking about that. He's thinking that once again, forces are conspiring to keep him from his father. But he isn't going to let Drake know that. Probably. Although Drake was right about Father still being alive in the first place.]

You should spend more time worrying about yourself, Former Boy Wonder. Pretty sure I've saved your life more than the other way around at this point. [Or not. But it sounds better than admitting that Drake - Drake - is better than Damian in some way. Even if Drake might have some (i.e., a very precious few) points in his favor.]
