You know, Roy, it's not a difficult concept to grasp. When you're on a team, you watch each other's backs. You don't stab your teammates in the back to save your own hide.

If you can't get that through your thick skull, you'll end up being Luthor's errand boy faster than you can think up a witty comeback.

Considering I had to keep an eye on you to keep the rest of the team alive as well as worry about Impulse's prophecy, as well as coordinate the team inside of War World, not to mention juggling several other duties with the league, I'm considering getting everybody out without being blown out of an airlock a win.

You're playing Luthor's game, Roy. I've had more experience with him than you ever had. I'd be willing to wager the Watchtower on the fact that he has your arm bugged, complete with a GPS so he can keep up with your every move.

And I'm sure they did a much better job with the arm than your telepath did with Green Beetle.

[He doesn't even flinch when Dick raises one of his sticks up at him. Just slowly crosses his arm in front of him, and smirks.]

I'd much rather talk about your screw-ups, Boss. [Might be mocking you a little now.]

Oh, you want to talk about my screw-ups? Fine. Let me get you started. I let the second Robin die because I was having a pissing contest with Batman. My first fiancee was possessed by a demon on our wedding day. I let Joker shoot Batgirl point blank in the spine because I was too slow. Now I have to watch her bound to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. Oh, and then there's my entire universe rebooting itself so that everything I did, everyone I knew, everything I cared about was erased so that it was like it never existed.

Yeah, I've screwed up more times than I can count. But I have never directly endangered the life of a teammate during a mission.

[Yeeeeeeah, Dick is just getting more and more pissed, Roy.]

[He sorta forget that you weren't his Nightwing for a moment and now he feels a little guilty about all this. Not that he's going to apologize or anything. But he will back off a bit.]

Not that it seems to have any effect on him most of the time, but I'm glad I have the approval of his doppelganger.
