In fairness, I kinda knew I'd die going on. I got the guy I was supposed to get before I went, though, so I'll take it.

Relax. I knew something like this would happen. Six people against an entire alien army, I'm the only one there who could have managed a suicide mission. Well, I guess maybe Ax, but they needed Ax.

You went up against an entire alien army with a crew of six? Where was the back-up?

[xenamorph]

Well, for the first two and a half years, they were ignoring us. After that, they were planning to just blow the planet up and take out the majority of the enemy with it.

So... basically, the back-up had their heads up their butts.

Are you sure you were fighting for the right side? [Possibly a touchy question, but...]

[xenamorph]

Well, our enemy was a race of brain slugs that came to conquer and enslave the human race. You tell me.

...okay, so you were definitely on the right side. How big were the slugs?

[xenamorph]

Not very. They basically crawl into your eardrum and wrap around your brain.

Y'know, I had a similar experience back in high school. Except rather than slugs, they were these... tentacle-y demon things that hatched from eggs and attached to your spine and brainwashed you into doing their bidding.

Sounds like a party. How did you get rid of them?

[monoculi]

Well, my friend managed to kill the mother demon, and its spawn died with it. Not one of my fondest memories.

Wow. It's good to know I'm not the only one with a screwed up childhood.

Oh, far from it! So, how did you wind up in this army? Career choice or world-saving necessity?

[xenamorph]

Necessity. We cut through the wrong construction site and ran into one of the slightly-less-evil aliens. He kind of liked humans, so he gave us the morphing ability and warned us about the Yeerks. The jerk.

How, uh... I'm gonna go with 'generous' of him. So, what's this morphing ability?

I can turn into animals. Or humans. Or aliens. I just have to touch them first.

I want to be pissed at him, because he's the reason my life has been hell for the past three years, but then again, if it wasn't for him we'd all be mindslaves, so.
