I can still feel him in my head, but he's quiet. I think he's too weak to take control after everything that happened... at least, for now.

[ He doesn't seem aware of that. His gift of foresight causes him to occasionally not see time in a linear sense, which can get a little confusing. Having a demon king in your head doesn't help. ]

... A lot happened. [ Formortiis took over almost completely, for example. ] I'll try to spare you the details, but... I lost myself. So many people died. I almost did, as well... but I guess Fomortiis can never truly die, or else I wouldn't be here.

I began looking into forms of magic that are considered forbidden in Magvel. Among them the ability to see the future. What I saw... made me use the Dark Stone. To save my father, and to save Grado. I had thought nothing Fomortiis could do would worse than if I did nothing.

I would have gladly given up my soul to save him and everyone else. [ Not doing so would have been selfish, in his mind. ] And in a way, Fomortiis did bring him back. Just... not like how I wanted.
