[Waving his arms about as he "talks", Sandy paces back and forth, lips moving faintly as his sand darts above his head, speaking for him. First, he points to himself, then the dreamwidth logo appears over his head, shifting into an alarm clock and then a question mark, following up into a toy plane that circles his head before becoming a little house. Sighing, he shrugs his shoulders and just toes at the ground impassively. You're the boss now, Miss Mun, so you better know what you're doing.

Oh, wait! One more thing. Jumping up on his heels, Sandy holds up a finger, waggling it out towards his mun. A bed appears as his sand shifts and transform over his spiky hair, then and arrow pointing towards said bed. You've not been sleeping well lately, so stop staying up so late! Honestly, he's supposed to be guarding the dreams of children, so don't make him start to worry about you now.

And just because it's Friday, and you have a long weekend this week, it doesn't mean you can stay up super late again tonight. You still have a lot of work to do and preparations to set straight before you go home, okay? Take your time, get plenty of rest, and don't sweat what your friends say. He'll still be here whenever you've got the time, so just take it slow.]

[Jack! As an exclamation point appears over Sandy's head, a huge smile appears on his face, hands raising up in joyous surprise. Man, it feels like he hasn't seen you in a long time or something.

Aaaand then his arms fall to his sides and he frowns, one side of his mouth turning up in a knowing and understanding sneer. He is aware of these facts - more than you think. It makes his job really hard, you know? Even if it's children he usually takes care of, dreams are important to everyone, and sleep too! Especially his mun, who's got a lot to do before she goes back home. She has to get a decent night's sleep!]

Unfortunately, muns seems to have a knack for staying up all hours of the night!

[He grins in return to Sandy's enthusiasm. Never unhappy when he's around!] Good to see you, too, Sandy.

[Jack just shrugs casually, then leans against his staff.] Maybe you can try and knock her out. [...] With or without the dream sand. But don't worry, they all sleep eventually.

[Oh, a small child! Waving, Sandy nods his head politely in greeting and then nods his head quickly, shrugging his shoulder. Yeah, he's the newest here in the - what did she call it - headspace? And he's actually not the only silent one, which is great, too. Makes things a little easier, definitely.]

Sandy points to himself again, for clarification, then points up over his head as his sand shifts and changes into the dreamwidth logo once more, hovering above his head for a minute or two before the sand moves and a picture of a girl with a laptop appears next to it. He points to those two with gusto, then himself, and back again.

[Ace scrunches up his face. That's definitely a bed, but the rest is over his head. Um. Literally?]

Sandy shrugs his shoulders, looking miffed, but accepting. There's really not much he can do unless he honestly knocks the girl out one way or another, and she is an adult and can do her own thing without his interfering, but you know it's hard for him to not be worried, Tooth. I mean, kids may need their sleep and they're the ones the Guardians protect, but adults have it rough. They're the real life guardians, and they've got a lot of stuff to deal with in the waking world.

It's hard not to give even them a push or two towards their forty winks or whatever.]

[Henry will wave back, smiling all the while. Piecing things together now though...]

Your mun's not sleeping are they?

[That gets a small laugh from the fairy. He had a point. Their muns are adults... Well, hers is anyway! It wasn't Tooth's place to chastise her like a child for bad habits. Though that didn't stop her from doing it anyway.]

I know, Sandy, but all we can do is try and nudge them in the right direction when they need it.

[Sandy shrugs his shoulders. Yeah, he's...definitely thought about doing that, once or twice. When she's being particularly stubborn. Honestly, that one time...three in the morning?! Tsk, tsk, no wonder she slept in until close to noon the next day. These adults are harder to look after then the children are, Jack, really. Is yours this bad?

Sandy sighs and nods his head. Yeah, yeah, he knows, he knows... But still, can't blame a guy for trying, right?]

[WOW, hello there. Sandy's shocked for a half second to see you here, but it quickly boils down to a quiet anger. Yes, yes he is looking after his mun, but are you really surprised, Pitch? Just because they've grown older and don't believe as much as they used to, he's still going to look out for them. Adults need just as much guarding as children sometimes. [Slapping a hand to his face, Sandy shakes his head quickly. No, no, no...that's not it. Close, but not exactly. Conjuring up his sand once more, Sandy transforms it into a girl with a laptop - his mun - then into a rising crescent moon above her, slowly turning, and then the bed again.

She stays up too late, and doesn't get enough sleep! It's very troublesome for me.

[YES! Oh my gosh, you got it right on the money! Wow, that's awesome! Sandy claps his hands - somehow not making a sound at all, and points to the small boy while hopping about on the balls of his feet. Finally, someone other than the Guardians that actually gets what he's saying.

Yes, she's not been sleeping very well at night. She complains about the heat, which may be true, sure, but at the same time she stays up too late and just exhausts herself. You have no idea how troubling that can be, considering his job.]
