Muse's reaction to Mun's finding of Alone on the Water/interaction with others

Mundane,

One could make the deduction that you clearly don't talk enough yourself in your own life. Since your the emotional type, you feel the need to reroute it through another venue, mainly. Me.

I am not very appreciative of this, in fact our chances of a working relationship - which I might add were slightly brighter a few days ago is now gone.

Please actually do my genius justice, though I know I can't expect much because you're an idiot.

And idiot who happens to think it's time to enter confessional when obviously you don't need one to absolve you.

You either absolve yourself or you do not deserve forgiveness.

Stop that.  I'm fine. Don't like affection anyway so you might as well go sit in the corner over there and actually make your own deductions.

In fact, just stick to your story about the bees.

That one interested me in fact - I never thought I'd grow old, and I can tell your emotional state is awful at this point, and that you are not being rational about much. Therefore you need to picture me in retirement with some brand of happiness to block the image of dying from your mind.

Also the one about France - but avoid pulling one where there is a child that resembles my youthful appearance hence evoking memories long since deleted. The point is getting the facilities shut down and the staff suitably punished for their treatment of young children whose only crime was thinking differently.

Dying doesn't ruffle me at all.
The fact that you're making me want to shoot you myself perhaps you should be thinking about it.

Good morning,
SH

P.S. And although the John you are currently pairing me with is likely a good match, do invest in exploring a little.

[...]

You're awfully talkative, today.

So you did.

[Pause. Have a somewhat stern look.]

Don't... shoot your Mun, Sherlock.

Right, well, I was afraid you might try something anyway. As one of your experiments, or some sort.

[Aren't they all?]

What're you planning on doing, then? Musing aloud to your Mun won't hold you over forever.

And have you done that, yet?

Good God it's true. There is more then one of you.

Seems to be enough Johns around so none of you are alone.

My my, but you have been a busy boy.
womanwhobeatyou: (I would have you right here on this desk)

[personal profile] womanwhobeatyou 2012-02-14 03:40 am (UTC)(link)
And I have been told that in mine, you are.

So it looks like we're both breaking the rules.

I don't know, but I suspect you fed John a load of rubbish. He's been far too stoically weepy to say very much. Or text.
womanwhobeatyou: (I was just playing the game)

[Her smile is thin and brittle] I was just playing the game, Mr. Holmes.

And what exactly led to my untimely demise in your universe, Mr. Holmes? Hopefully it was something better than an unfortunate dive off a hospital roof.

[She's willing to expect that in some world that Sherlock Holmes would actually let something like that kill him. But in hers, he's helped her fake her own death, so any word of his death is met with an awful lot of skepticism.]
womanwhobeatyou: (I was just playing the game)

[personal profile] womanwhobeatyou 2012-02-15 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
Ah. [The sigh sounds resigned, almost sad.] Well, I suppose we can't have everything.

[A pause.] Oh? I always thought Jim Moriarty knew what the Holmes boys liked.
womanwhobeatyou: (until you begged for mercy twice.)

[personal profile] womanwhobeatyou 2012-02-15 05:07 am (UTC)(link)
[She smiles at that, the moment of vulnerability gone again.]

Isn't that what I said?

A "yes" would have sufficed.
