You might recall that I've met some of the finest men alive where taverns and heavy-handed thugs were involved. Had a nice time narrowly escaping death and destroying innocent furniture, came out of it all just fine.

Frankly, I say we've no reason not to keep up the habit in our dear holy city. If that's how I can best get to know a few more interesting parties-- well, then you're worrying over nothing and I'm not surprised, really. It may not a habit I've kept to with my usual vigour since being knighted, perhaps, but it is still a habit. And I know that we both happen to enjoy making things happen that way. Just a waste of energy thinking otherwise.

Ought to be thinking about how I'm meant to show my good sportsmanship to our champion of swords instead.

Or working on putting together that little hunt for Merlin, eh?

And I'll admit to wondering exactly where you think I've been keeping the socks all this time. Not many places where they can... be stowed safely. Sort of thing that would draw rather a bit of notice, actually.
