Voicetesting OC 8T And maybe heading to
tushanshu.
It's a great idea. The back of an giant turtle with a limited supply of anti-psychotics and possibly increasing deterioration.
Maybe the mystical, relaxation, sage-turtle will put my mind back together. Or maybe I'll get radiation poisoning from the mutated sea life and end up blue.
...It might be nice. I've never seen the ocean.
Or a turtle.

I've never seen the ocean either, though. [A beat] Or a turtle, actually. Matching?
no subject
I'm not sure that's something to celebrate.
no subject
It's a point of similarity. Water isn't safe in my world, so I'm pretty sure the turtles have all died.
no subject
I'm not sure it's safe for me either. I can't swim. But I don't really expect a giant turtle to capsize either.

Apparently it dives. At least, that's what the mun says. I'm not exactly sure how trustworthy these people are.

[ Blink. Welpface. ] So I'll die. That sounds great.

[ Spoken frank, and mostly blank, as if just a matter of fact. ] The good thing being once I get sent back, I'll be the same as I left off. Once I reach brain dead, I guess that'll be... relieving?
no subject
You'll probably be too insane by that point to remember what relief is, honestly.
no subject
[ A slow, shaken kind of exhale. ] And by the time I'm a vegetable I won't remember the insanity to be traumatized by it.
no subject
[A grin.] Sounds like a great way to end a life.
no subject
[ A short laugh that's really more sick than humored. ] Having your brain rot in your skull? Too bad it doesn't really end it. [ Maybe he'll tell Meredith to just give him a lethal injection after they finish the fight. If they finish it. ]
no subject
[She should be apologetic, maybe a little more sorry, but she doesn't think pity is going to really do him any good.] It will, eventually. One way or another.
no subject
[ It won't. Nothing will do him any good aside for finishing what he's set out to do. It's all that's left, really. ] I wouldn't really know. Medical science wasn't my field and I've never been in a hospital. [ He knows the term 'life support', knows the theory, but has never seen someone actually held together by it. ] I've never seen a sick person.
no subject
It's nothing to brag about. Seeing a sick person. [The bite that was in her voice before is gone, left only by a certain sadness that creeps into her face as well. She watched her mom get sick and die. It hasn't left her with pleasant feelings.] I guess you could look into a mirror. You're a little pale.

[ His mouth opens to answer something about that, when he halts, shifting to a concerned expression much more pronounced than before and hands go to his cheeks, trying to pinch color into them. When he speaks, his voice is hitched up higher, almost feminine. ] Am I? Christ, and I don't have any concealer or foundation on today, I probably look half dead. Maybe I should go tanning...
no subject
What... [Whoa, dude. You just totally flipped on her. She kind of stares openly, not even bothering to conceal her confusion.] They have tanning beds in this facility of yours?
no subject
Um. No. There's not. Sorry. [ And he'll just clear his throat and furrow his brow for a moment, as if trying to remember what place he was at and what was being discussed. ]
It... [ He's thinking for a moment. The facility. It still feels like the entire world to him. When he thinks of comfort, he still thinks of his room, of the gardens, of the art rooms. Of the doctors that spoke in calming, encouraging words while feeding him anti-psychotics. It's hard to call disgusting. ] It didn't seem that way. Not at first.
no subject
If you need those anti-psychotics and don't want radiation poisoning, I don't think it sounds nice at all.
