Hey, I understand that you need to take a break! I have no idea what your homework's all about, but I know it's demanding when you're putting your games on the back burner. Besides, I'll be around when you need a break from that as well... kind of like now, apparently.

Incidentally, as many weird things I've seen out of the games you threw me into, I never expected to see two copies of myself. Not sure how I feel about that.

So anyways, I'll be revving to go whenever you decide to jump back into this. Or I'd like to think, at least.

Exactly. [uhhh......] I'm doing alright. I meet up to practice waterbending with Katara some nights, I see Sokka sometimes, I'm okay with Zuko, Mako's been coming over a few times a week... but Mako hasn't really talked about the stuff that's going on at firebender central.

I'm glad you're doing alright. From what I've heard, it sounds like they could all use some space away from each other. Maybe moving so close together wasn't such a good idea.

Probably not. Even though I'm not officially aware of what's going on with them, I'm glad moving in with them was never an option in my mind. [Because she'd probably end up fighting with Azula........ All day erryday.]

Have you considered moving in with Katara and Sokka? I hate to see you living all by yourself like that.

I thought about moving anywhere else the day you left, but as stupid as it sounds, I didn't want to move. I still don't really want to move, even if it means getting to stay with Katara and Sokka. I know where everything is here, I have a well in the basement, the gym Bolin and I built is still standing in the back, and... I guess if you or Bolin come back, I just want us to all live together again. It's the one place in this whacked out city that feels familiar to me now.

You know, I really wish I'd gotten the chance to say bye. That's the cruelty about places like that, there's no warning up to someone up and disappearing.

I know what you mean. I could even disappear tomorrow... not that I really am though. My mun wants me to write something out in advance, kinda like what Katara did.

You have upcoming plans?

My mun's thinking of waiting on doing a canon update until after the next season starts coming out. How far into it she'll wait before the update, she doesn't know. Apparently it depends on some of the things that might happen.

Oh, that'll be fun and not messy at all. Come to think of it, Mako hasn't been updated yet, has he?

No, he hasn't. And I'm actually glad for it. And after everything that's happened in Adstringendum, is it okay that I hope we don't stay together by the time that next season comes out? If you come back, I don't want things getting messed up between you and me over a guy. That would be so stupid.

...We'll just have to deal with whatever comes.

I think I've already resigned myself to the fact that it's just not going to work out between us. I don't really see that changing, even if I go back, and I'm presuming that mentality stays with me if I do. So if it does happen, it's not like it'll be anything new.

Yeah, I guess so....

Then I guess I better hope my mun doesn't change my mind. I actually like being single.

I'm sort of beginning to get used to it, myself. Less to worry about, I guess.

[ She pauses thoughtfully, because breakups are pretty hard in actuality. ]

It's just, you know, you have to get past a certain emptiness after sharing a lot of things with someone. Being in a relationship has its rewards, too.
