Thanks for trashing that page you were working on; I think we need a little more research before you do anything with that idea. The other one you came up with, though? That one we can do.
You're going to lose interest or fall asleep before you get a chance to start tonight, aren't you?
As long as I don't have to deal with Rial, I'll live with it.

[Though Lyran's not sure how much of an asset he is at this point.]
He's generally a complete ass.

-=His fingers shift to a mark on his chest, a tattoo swirling around his left breast. It looks almost tribal and arabic and not at the same time.=-

I'm Lyran. There's a human village below the castle, so I've got somewhere to go if I need to breathe, but some of them don't react well when they see this.
[It bugs him, but not too much, surprisingly.]
The...Faunlyn? Why'd they raise you, if it's okay to ask?

I carry a magic that my mother did not know how best to train me in. She asked the Faunlyn to teach me theirs, an one accepted. In order for me to learn BloodSpeaking, I needed to become one of them. I went to live with them when I was young.

[Oh, that sounds fun. Well, it'd probably sound fun to some of the vampires he knows.]
Your mother must have loved you a lot to do that for you.

-=Actually, Vampires really don't like him. But the conversation turns to his mother and his expression softens.=-
A mother's love is the strongest bond.
