Look, we both know this isn't going to go anywhere. So why don't you just leave me alone, alright? My life's gotten hard enough now that dad's shown up and I really don't need you adding to it. So forget about sending me to any of your games. I don't want to go. I just want to go back to school and pretend to try and live a normal life.

Well, as normal as my life gets anyway.

Every mundane thinks of such things, and mine is no exception. I just happen to find it amusing most of the time; certainly quite an improvement from the last being that held control of my fate.

Yes, that is rather universal. What is surprising is that those of mixed blood are an uncommon occurrence in other worlds, and that some frown upon inter-species relationships.

[As long as the parties involved are roughly human-shaped most of the time, anyway. It's still highly discouraged to make moves creatures like goats pretty much wherever you go.]

I bet. There were a few that weren't happy when my dad have me a little introduction to his world.

I suppose I can imagine. Contention between two peoples does tend to cause a bit of extra strain in cases like these.

Sure, why not. High School is a prison designed to teach anyone under the age of eighteen useless junk. It gives their parents a place to dump their offspring during the day so they don't try and kill them for being stupid.

The dumber the kid, the more popular he is and the rest of us are left to fend for ourselves in the feeding frenzy known as popularity.

You probably already know by now, but once a mun's got his or her hands on you, they're not that willing to let go. You may be better off trying to convince them to not send you to some horrible places - like a prison or something.

Yeah, I'm getting that. Though the convincing isn't going so great but at least I know that if she does send me somewhere, it won't be any worse then being the new kid in high school.

Right now, a few places. None of them really sound that much fun to me.

I think there are a lot of places that are pretty bad, so hopefully she isn't sending you to any of those - like the ones that are prisons or the ones that seem like they just want to break you.

Kind isn't exactly the word I'd use to describe my mun. But, at least I know I can deal with most of the crap she wants to throw at me.

That doesn't mean I have to like it. Besides, if I can handle my dad, I don't think there's any place that could break me.

My mun is... mostly kind. SHe just likes throwing me into embarrassing or dangerous situations. She calls it 'growing'. [ Belief Level 0 ]

My best friend's father is a dragon too - but I don't think Igneel is anything like your dad, from the way Natsu talks about him. The opposite, if anything... but with that said, it must be hard to get along with him; your father, I mean.

You could say that. My old man was absent from my life until recently. It hasn't been easy with him reappearing and we're not exactly seeing eye to eye on a few things.

There's... sort of a council? I don't know. My Dad's kind of... King of the Kaiju, so I guess he has followers. All I know is the first time he introduced me as his heir, I got dumped into a pit of lava in front of several other monsters.

[Saft for once is actually pretty interested in what someone's telling her, normally she'd be bored and have wondered off by now but for her to meet someone so like herself has her completely over the moon.]

My dad was supposed to be next in line to become head of the council only...he didn't want that life thrust upon him, He went out of his way to make everyone's lifes a misery and eventually ran away from home where he met my mother...and then decided to break the one rule that would push my grandfather over the edge and disown him for the rest of his life.

That depends on what you consider exciting.

Jumping out of an air transport from a few thousand feet up usually fits my idea of exciting, especially if I'm diving straight into a fight. I realize that's not everyone's idea of thrill ride, though. For some, that might be more like a "wet yourself and then pass out" kind of a deal.
