About sending him to dragonhaven.
Dragons. What in Durin's name did you have to pick a game with DRAGONS in? Highly foolish. I cannot understand what made you send me there of all places. Never mind. I have my strength and honour at my back so I will fight if I have to. I will never give up Erebor nor the Arkenstone to any suspicious looking lizards.
I am looking forward to spending some time with Thorin though. Oh, and I have heard rumour that he has nephews that are there also. Nay, where does the time go? If it wasn't for Thorin there, I'd refuse to go. I do not have a choice though. [grumble. ihatedragonstheystink.]
I will prepare for this new dragon place then. Durin save me from this madness.

Thank you, master dwarf. What may be your name?
no subject
...m'name's Bombur, yer Majesty, sir. [ And he pushes another sticky bun to him. ]

A-aye. Thank ye, yer Majesty. [ He doesn't have the way with words his older brother has. The King has such a shiny beard, doesn't he? ]
no subject
Are you a cook, Bombur? You look like you know your way around a camp fire.
[It's the bling beard, dude. Rock the beard. Maybe Thorin will have such a beard when he reaches 200.]

Made those sticky buns ye just ate... I hope ye liked 'em, yer Majesty. [ Bombur smiles and realizes he never thought he'd ever get to speak with a King! Would Bofur even believe him if he told him he did? ]

They were delicious, Bombur. Buns fit for a king, no doubt.

Could make ye some of me stew, if ye'd like. T' lads always like me stew.

Dragons are a terrible foe, o king. I should hope that you'll find none in that place and that you and your grandson will find a great deal to speak of.

Greetings, master elf. Aye, they strike a chill in every dwarf's heart. The same with elves too I imagine.
I do not wish any ill will among my kin. Least not Thorin.

Nor do I.

It was some salvation but none can bring those back from the dead. They're lives were not lost in vain though. Every dwarf brings his stout heart and warrior's skill into the next world.

[His father had taken up his crown after Oropher's death in the Battle of the Last Alliance, after all.]
Indeed, they do. And they are still honored among their kin who remain, I am sure.
Is your Leggy in any kind of game? Fancy dragonhaven? ;)
How is your father, Legolas?
He's in two but I might be tempted to look at a third :3
He is well although he is still distrusting of most outsiders to our forest.
Re: Ooohh, Thror likes elves, unlike his grandson. It uh, happened after he uh, you know....
Do you still have trouble in the Greenwood? Rumours of spiders and other such filth.
Well, elves are awesome! And ooh~?
Re: True, they are. Although, dwarves rock too :D
Yet, we must not let these evil spawn of Sauron win. They cannot win.
They do! :3 *wraps self around all the dwarves*
Re: saw your app. excited >_<
I hope he gets in!

Does he favour an axe like his father?

yo, s'up, dude?
Greetings, master dwarf. What brings you here?
I'm Bombur :D Decided to tag you as Dori as well
forced pleasant smile.]Well... I've ALWAYS hoped to meet you, Your Majesty. Although not in my least flattering pair of shoes.
Re: Ah, of course XD I'm Thorin too :P
FTW!
I am Dori
son of who knows, brother of... known thief Nori?brother of Ori, me beloved younger brother.Re: Thanks :D
What line of work are you in? Trader? Miner?
YW :D
Silk merchant, your Majesty. [Dori knits scarves and vests and the like and sells them at the market... about one percent of the thread he uses is silk. Close enough?]
Re: Awesome :D
Silk merchant? Hm. A good line of work, Dori. Is your brother Ori also a silk merchant?
no subject
Why, yes, and a talented scribe. He is still very young, of course, but remarkably well-read and he's got ever such neat handwriting.
sob hope this isn't too late
[...]
What are you for that matter?
[The Secondborn? Surely not. /side-eyeing Ilúvatar now.]
Re: of course not! Nice to meet you, Feanor ;)
I am a dwarf, master elf. Thror, son of Dain. King of Erebor.
you may change your mind about that, as he's sort of an ass. ;)
I do not. Hence my asking. You are frightened of lizards? [Slightly incredulous smirk, there.]
Dwarf. Unfamiliar names and places.
