I think that I'm steadily approaching the place I want to be. [With setbacks now and then.] Perhaps, the limit does not exist, but I am in constant motion. That's good enough, isn't it?

Pokemon have such a beautiful and complex language, so deep and profound, while remaining free of meaningless frills, so, how could I possibly stop?!

[Good job, N. You were doing so well trying to keep calm, now you're excitedly ranting at Ghetsis of all people.]

Yes, I do. I'm a researcher who specializes in Pokemon.

[He gives out his hand for a friendly shake] My name's Oak, Professor Oak. And you are?

That's wonderful. [N, speak up a little. Don't whisper all the time.

N takes the Professor's hand, smiling amiably, even if the empty look in his eyes are a bit unsettling...]

My name is N.

[Oak noticed the young man's eyes, which clearly contradicts his apparent smile... unless that too is empty and void of emotion. No doubt it left the Professor feeling concern for N; he can't help but think that something isn't right.]

Are you alright? [He asked after breaking their handshake. Concerned Professor is concerned]

Really? I wonder what sort of things you've heard...

Team Plasma's king. I suppose you seek to liberate Pokemon from the likes of us?

People like you don't deserve to have Pokemon! Trainers who love and care for their Pokemon are one thing, but the way you use Pokemon for your own gain... that's another matter entirely!

The boss of Team Rocket, yes.

I use Pokemon the way they're best suited to be used. You could never understand that.

I would never want to become so corrupted and twisted a man to think that treating Pokemon like tools is the right thing to do!

[He's overcome with anger and sadness, weak voice breaking as he tries to convey his feelings: his too-familiar choice of insults distress him further, but he doesn't know any other way to speak in his anger.]

Living creatures with hearts and minds of their own should be treated with respect!

There is a Lampent and it sure is hanging around rather casually, playing nonchalantly with a flickering Will-o-the-Wisp and humming something to itself in Lampentspeak that sounds like 'A traveler, hm? Well, where do you wander, I do wonder.']

[He turns to it, the words sung registering more quickly than human words in his mind. No need for translation.

Always empty-eyed, but smiling and speaking pleasantly now.]

Anywhere. Everywhere... where humans and Pokemon both dwell.

What brings you here from the world of spirits, friend? Hunger or boredom?

[guideligns]

[And for a moment, it's taken aback. But then it recovers easily, tilting its head and touching it with one spindly arm in a manner that approximates someone tipping their hat in greeting.]

Not all who wander are lost, is that how it goes?

You needn't worry, no you don't. You're nowhere near the end of your road.

[At the gesture, he tips his hat in an unpracticed, somewhat childish sort of way. It's the intention that counts, right?] A fitting adage.

No, I wasn't worried. [He's still smiling.] But, I'm happy that there is still more time for me to see more of the world.

Huh? The way you talk...it's so weird. Where are you travelling to?

[He smiles, holding his arms out in a grand gesture.]

Humans, Pokemon, the way their worlds intercept, merge, and blur. I want to learn more and more about the relationship between the two.

A boy? [He blinks, looking rather curious, even if those empty eyes always look detached.] I'm sorry for being awkward... [There's no sarcasm to it, he's rubbing the back of his head and looking rather embarrassed.]
