I would've done that anyway. It had to be done. Besides, you don't really think the other Gryffindors would've let the Death Eaters have their say without trouble, do you?

I wouldn't expect anyone to, if they were strong enough. I learned from Luna that you don't have to be a Gryffindor to be brave.

Luna is a special case. I could tell that from the first moment I met her. But I think anyone with a good heart knows what's right and what's wrong. If they have the courage to pursue what's right then why should their House matter?
