Second, sending me to a whole city filled with preternatural being and monsters? That is different from St. Louis how exactly? I just finished moving!

I'm guessing that vampires are relatively new at being part of your society then?

Well, they've been around for a long while, obviously, but yeah, they only became recognized as legal citizens of the United States a few years ago. People are still getting used to it.

Normally I prefer to fly solo, but I wouldn't be able to say no to a hand from you. Besides, aside from the whole captivity angle, it's not so bad. Everybody loves captivity, right?

Yeah. That bad. I've made some friends, or allies, I guess, but there are a lot of things about this place that have me really on edge.

Far as I know there are a couple of us around, although Manny's retired. Anita is the most famous, obviously.

I get that a lot. I'm an animator, it was the logical thing to use the talent I've been given. So dealing with monsters it is.
