I get that you're worried, Mun. The whole being gutted from groin-to-sternum thing was terrifying, I know. Considering my C-list status at best, I could very easily have become just another casualty to push Kate's story forward. But hey, I survived! I didn't lose my spirit! And I have a (literally) shiny new costume too!

See, here's the thing. I want this. To be a hero. To realize my own potential. To do something with myself. That's why I'm still wearing a costume, why I still want to fight crime. It isn't to impress some costumed cutie. That hasn't been why I've done this for a very, very long time.

So, let's do this! Find me someplace fun and adventurous where I can finally prove myself!

That really was inspiring. Who knows maybe you'll get lucky this time? Or not, both would be fun to see.

I'd like to think that my getting lucky would be more fun to see than my getting gutted again, thanks.

But it was all kinds of inspiring, right? Because I was totally going for that.

Dumb enough to get yourself cut up, may not be spot on but I'm sure I'm getting warm.

It's a professional risk. Some of us get shot in the spine, some of us get gutted, some of us get a bad case of kryptonite poisoning. It's not dumb, it was unfortunate.

Well, I do have a bit of a theme going on, if you hadn't noticed.

[Okay, so robot monkeys. Using flares won't help blind them, so that's out. Oh, but hey! Electrified bird-bolas, flame-bursting birdarangs, and...okay, she's kinda surrounded. But she can do this!]

[One of the monkeys quickly dashes headlong at her, while another makes a dash at her legs and tries to wrap it's arms around them to trip her up.]

[That first one is taken out easily enough with a well-aimed birdarang. That second one, though, that one trips her up just enough to embarrass her a little bit.]

My mun's glad to see you weren't killed off, Ms. Kane. Though he also says he prefers either of your previous costumes.
