Thorin is displeased with his placement into
dragonhaven. No one is surprised.
So be it then. Dragons.
I dare not say twas the better option, but to be wed to some elf like prince could have been worse in many ways. Ways I dare not think of nor discuss.
[He's not going to even get into the whole starting him out in some city full of elves. Also thank you for taking him from the end of the movie so he's hurt. Best mundane ever.]
There is some comfort in having my kin here, though it would be better if we were still with the rest of the company. There is no time to chase dragons about in this place, Erebor waits and Durin's day grows closer still. Though you care little for our troubles don't you?

[He's incredibly confused]

[Still elves here, but none he had to marry.]
Not that that is any better.

Ah, I see. Tis a far better choice, your scribe was wise to send you there. Dragons we can handle!

If you ever need another blade in your cause, you have mind. [Fellow Thorins are always a good thing, right?]
no subject
There is always room for a blade, but it seems that in this case you cannot join us here. Though it is better there is one of us still free to finish our quest.
no subject
Surely, what madness has your scribe fallen into to send you to places such as this? That is ill news. Dragons can never be trusted, scheming creatures as they are.
Elves? [He scoffed.] They are nearly as bad as dragons. Nay, that is a shame. I always offer my blade up to any fellow dwarf in the time of need. But alas, I give you the strength of Durin for your trip.
Aye, I will continue on, persuing Erebor with every ounce of strength left in me.
I'm sorry I'm replying to an oldish post, I just. The Hobbit. My childhood. etc.
[she's been around for long enough to know.]
Not old at all, just posted it last night :3
oh. RADICAL THEN!!!

[He frowns a little.]
Though I will not be chasing much of anything at the moment.

Did she let you get hurt again?

Kili was taken there as well, but sometime before myself... we've been told the dragons saved us, brought us to these havens to keep us safe. [He'll all but roll his eyes.]
Lies, nothing but lies to keep us from questioning their true purpose.

[He is happy to see you, wizard. Even if that frown won't turn upside down on his face.]
I intend to do just that, if I can just find where these dragons reside in this "haven" they've brought us to.
I must admit, I did not think I would see you here, saddled with a scribe.
no subject
But you are in luck, Master Thorin: dragons do not wait on finding. They have learned too much patience in their long life. It is lost to them, like water from a cup filled past its brim.
no subject
Luck? No, luck would have me at the doors of Erebor. This is far from it.

[As in, more than just one, and not the right one? Of course, the alternative sounds just as bad, and both of them almost as if they're deliberate taunts.]
How many of them?
no subject
[Fili. Fili come help him find all the dragons. We can make dragon soup or something.]
no subject
No, it doesn't... What is this place you've been taken to, Thorin?
no subject
Kili and I have been taken by dragons to a "haven" with many different places residing in it. These dragons say they saved us, though it is nothing but lies.
We needed no saving, our rescue had just come after all.
