Any kings in need of a vassal? [Homeless]
All of a sudden you're asking me where I'd like to go now? Huh. Such surprising altruism.
Someplace different from the last, I believe. Watching me fornicate with strangers may be your idea of fun, but I'm afraid I must decline.
... What do you mean "So what else is there?" You act like that's the only sort of game I could possibly join.
...
I suppose if I were to answer honestly, I wouldn't mind a return to the old days. Working in the service of a strong king. Not my king, of course. Even if things had ended differently, I don't think I could return to Homurabi-sama's side again. And heaven knows where Ryuuko-sama has gone. Still... a king worth serving would suffice, I think.
What's that? "Weren't you retired?" Well, yes, that's true too. Though while the idleness had some novelty at first, I've come to find it downright dull. As it is, the thought of whether or not Nanaya or Lulu know how to brew Homurabi-sama's tea to his exact preferences still keeps me up at night. I wasn't built for leisure. Servitude runs too deep in the blood, I guess.
So why don't we go with that. Go find me a king worthy of my service. That should at least keep you until this sudden interest in playing me again passes.

AHHHHHHHHH
W-Wait. Why are you screaming....
[There is a lot of blame in those words.]
*AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH* oh my god more MF players is it my birthday or something
That said, a Child has a duty to obey his King. I did my duty voluntarily and without apology. I've never once refused to take ownership of that fact.
Pffff I was actually worried this would be too late! (So I dragged a Ryuuko along for support)
[And more importantly, why is his own idiot of a mun waving her arms around and making shushing motions.
Because there was something Kou "forgot" to tell him.]
I was wondering, since you two posted so close together! (1/idk)
(2/3)
Oh.
He really had no idea, did he? ]
(3/3)
The decision he makes is not a prudent one. But it's the one most consistent with his character. It's as he just said--he won't deny accountability for what he's done. No apologies, no remorse, no hiding. The least he can do--the least he owes Ryuuko--is to carry the reality of his crimes with some measure of dignity. ]
You don't really believe Homurabi-sama was the only one to dirty his hands that day, do you?
Heheh, yup!
He doesn't even hestitate, his voice low and angry.]
What did you do?
[Not that anything Sawaki said next would change the fate Shirogane had in store for him. He'd always had difficulty giving value to anyone that wasn't Ryuuko even back when Ryuuko was still alive.]
yeees. yeeeeeees. *let the hate flow through you.*
I did my duty, sire. Voluntarily and without apology.
W e l p. It was nice knowing you, Sawaki.
And why Ryuuko?]
You had no right.

If it is your will to bring down the wrath of the King on my head, then by all means, go ahead. I have no intention to resist it.
no subject
Because why Ryuuko?]
Good.
[He lets the sword form in his hand, almost relieved that he still remembers how to do it after being stuck for so long as a human because of the whims of his mun (and her desire for him not to be able to destroy entire cities whenever he got angry).]

You think so? The place she was considering would have made me human. If nothing else, it would have given me a fresh new perspective from which to see things.
no subject
I suppose so. My experiences thus far haven't been especially positive, so perhaps that's clouded my judgment a tad.
Where was she considering, if you don't mind my asking?
no subject
[He would also think of it as a once in a lifetime chance. It's not everyday one such as him got to experience what it means to be human.]
Ah, it was

... Well. If your mun decides to send you someplace else, I don't suppose you'd be in the market for a companion? I don't much like the thought of a King being stranded somewhere without servants, our regrettable past aside.
no subject
That being said...I would appreciate having a familiar face if I should end up going anywhere.
no subject
... That said, I suppose there's no harm in just thinking of it as a couple of old retirees on an extended holiday.
no subject
He laughed, though at the second part.]
I would hardly call you old, Sawaki. [At least, he wasn't compared to Ryuuko who had probably existed since the beginning of time itself.] Retirement does sound nice, though and I think we've both more than earned it.
no subject
That said. Should your mun be interested in taking you somewhere, I would be more than happy to follow. If luck's on our side, we may even find the boy somewhere. [ Kengo, he means. Ryuuko is here, so really that's the last thing that's keeping Sawaki up at night. Wondering where he's gone off to.
Well, that and your counterpart probably getting ready to murder him upthread, Ryuuko. ]
no subject
I'm sorry. It's because of us that you had to go through so much. [He can't help but feel guilty even now.
But Ryuuko couldn't help but smile at what Sawaki said. Really, in the end, Sawaki was just a worrier at heart.]
If we do, I'm sure he would be excited to finally have a chance to know his protector.
