plurk shenanigans...

So you have decided on faeries, then.

I suppose I could handle a place like that... though I am still curious to what a 'blood elf' is. It does not sound like a good thing, even if you seem determined in me making friends with them.

...neither am I quite sure why you have such an interest in Lady Galadriel and what kind of elf she would be in Faerûn.

With all due respect, you seem less like the sin'dorei than you do my own kind, though my guess is that you are neither.

[ well tbh the blood elves aren't too much better. nice stumpy ears, stumpy ears. ]

I am kaldorei, more commonly known as a night elf; if you are not of Azeroth, I can't imagine you would have heard of us.

[ hey man the doors in darnassus are wide enough to accommodate. i sense some ear envy. ]

All of which is, unsurprisingly, unfamiliar to me. Nevertheless - your writer is sending you off? You seem confident.

[ they are sleek and elegant and not at all cumbersome okay!! why so jelly. ]

I hope as much, for your sake. But to answer your question: no, I do not, which is for the best, I think.
darnassian: (Is that so?)

[ fair enough. ]

So I've heard. The game is familiar to me, though my writer has never been a part of it; I imagine you will learn a great deal about my home, and my people.
darnassian: (Gettin' mah hurr did.)

[personal profile] darnassian 2013-02-10 02:05 am (UTC)(link)
Is that so? And what of you? Are there others there, from your home?
darnassian: (Of the Mother Moon.)

[personal profile] darnassian 2013-02-10 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
A blessing and a curse, I suppose. But you seem the capable sort, allies or no allies.
inafadingcrown: (curious)

you called?

[personal profile] inafadingcrown 2013-02-10 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
I beg your pardon? [So many types of elves. She'd be lying if she said she didn't find it fascinating, though.]

They would certainly not be the first to take an interest, though most care more for what kind of I am rather than that which I might be.

None was taken. I find myself more curious than aught else- both of the thoughts of your writer and of your own.

I see. [Well, you know. You're born in the light of the Two Trees, live a few thousand years- it happens.] Then I will wish you well in your ventures. I have found that, whatever differences may separate us, there is some comfort in the company of those of a similar kind.

There certainly seems to be a wide variety of those the mundanes call elves. Often with little enough in common.

[Well, she's got pointed ears (which I need to work on editing into her icons). On the other hand, she's also over seven feet tall]

Blood Elves? You mean the ones with the odd glowing eyes, and the mile high ears?

[personal profile] ringmage 2013-02-10 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, yes. Those are the ones I know.

They're quiet strange in my opinion. Apparently the odd coloring of their eyes is caused by high levels of concentrated magic. I spoken to several Blood Elves who confirmed this as fact.

True, but if the magic that courses through them is that potent--then I speculate that most of their kind would be dead by now. I honestly never seen anything like it.

My background is within the magical arts, and even I don't know what to make of it.
