Elsewhere. I wish he weren't in any of those places, but it's nice to actually be able to see him again.

He never really spoke about his family much, but...I'm pretty sure he'd deal with the circumstances if he got to see you again.

[ She knew the family basics, perhaps as well as one could for as close as they'd been. No matter how it happened, it isn't easy to lose one's mother. She could sympathize with that. ]

He does, and he doesn't complain. It's never easy to watch people you love in such places though.

Yeah, I can only imagine. I'm still glad he gets the chance. I always got the feeling that something pretty awful happened.

I wish I could say that it wasn't so bad...but it was. I'm just glad that he eventually found someone that made things a little better for him.

It's fine, really. Most people with an idea of our history wonder at some point or another.

I did always kind of wonder, but I don't think the history is make or break; it's what you do afterwards that matters most.

For the most part, it's a good thing. At one place, I even got to be with my father for a while.

It just gets bad when you see those same people you love so much getting hurt.
