Yeah, it's this huge flying space turtle that has elephants on its back or something.

I... had not been told about the elephants. Well, if I'm stuck going there, it will at least be interesting.

I'm sure she will... But she said Clarisse might be going too, which would make it at least a little easier to deal with.

[And all it takes is her smile to make him reel back the grumpiness a bit.]

There are some of them out here, you know.

I've only seen them through my writer's antics. She has Eris, Selene and Iris around here... And there are more that others have out and about.

Guess we'll have to be sneaky. Can't afford running into either of our parents.

[Well, there are more around, just not that she's run into...]

We could always just hope that they run into each other first before they run into us.

[Because then they'd be so preoccupied with avoiding each other, they'd avoid them too.]

[She laughs a little and wrinkles her nose.]

[ And maybe he'll lean down and kiss her forehead, just because she's here and he can, and when she scrunches up her nose like that he can almost feel like they're back home. at camp. alive. ]

[He opens his mouth to say something lacking extremely in tact, but just barely manages to catch himself. It has the side effect of making him imitate a fish for a few seconds before he can decide what to say]

It's not that bad. The turtle's pretty cool so long as you don't try talking to it. [He grins, but there's something like guilt in his eyes. He won't mention it if you don't]

[It's.... probably best he doesn't say anything. Though Silena can tell he's struggling.]

[Don't worry... she won't say anything, though she looks just as guilty behind her smile.]

[He makes a bit of a face to try and cover his awkwardness] Nothing. At least, nothing I could understand. I did get a bunch of people asking if I was on drugs right after, though.

Well to be fair, most people don't try to talk to giant turtles. But I'll learn from your mistakes, I think.

It'd be good to see you, Silena. [It would be easy for someone else to add 'even with what happened' but Percy doesn't really think that way. He just legitimately would be glad to see her, although he'd rather she got her chance to rest in Elysium.]

[She pauses, her smiling fading to something more subdued. Still sincere, she nods her head.]

It would be good to see you too, Percy. I think she's decided to send me instead of the Roman girl... I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
