[ See this face? This is not a happy face.
Not that it is always easy to tell, but at least now the sheer annoyance radiates.
In waves. ]
Let me get this straight. You want me to leave my post to go Maker knows where because your friends told you should do it and you lack the ability to say no?
That's a great idea. You have several other people up here that you can send in my place, and I have enough trouble to deal with without the likes of you and what you choose to do for fun.
[ oh, if it's not one thing. it's another! ]
Do what you will, but leave me out of it.
[ and a look around, added quietly - ]
- and I thought the barracks were cramped quarters.
[ Aveline, out ]

sorry in advance, my icons suck lol
Last time mun brought her out Fenris and Anders picked on her 8(]Aveline!! Oh, you don't look too pleased do you. [Keen observation, Merrill.]
no worries! hi.
Sigh. ]
Merril.
No, I can't say that I'm pleased.

[omg she's just being an ass.]
Doesn't that make you feel all warm and fuzzy?
no subject
Truth be told, I'd rather she let me be. But somehow I don't see that happening at this point.

Are they all like this?
no subject
[Well, unless your name is Quentin.]
...Perhaps you'd be better off taking Varric's advice. A large sign could do the trick. You could beat your writer over the head with it until they forget where they want to send you.

It may be so that she'll find something new and exciting to latch onto in the next month, or go back to someone else up here.
[ ... maybe. ]

[ her bitterness is showing. ]
Resolve is almost an unknown concept to these scribes. With any luck, in a week yours will have entirely forgotten the notion to send you any where.
no subject
Or she'll latch back onto someone else. I wouldn't mind it so much.
no subject
Some paths shouldn't be tread upon at all.
no subject
Think of it as a challenge, Aveline! There must be a lot of trouble there you can put a stop to.
no subject
Or maybe if she doesnt knock it off, her scribe really is going to get hit over the head... ]
Somehow, I think there are enough challenges back here, without getting stuck on a ship full of horrors, or wherever it is that she plans on sending me.
no subject
In Kirkwall? Tame, organized Kirkwall? I'm sure you don't have to worry about a thing. Nothing ever happens here.
[Good thing it's not possible to choke on your own sarcasm]
A ship full of horrors won't take you long. Grab the miscreants and throw them overboard.
no subject
Anyways. You are getting A Look. ]
You know what I mean. It doesn't feel right, this place. The way it sounds.
[ and in Kirkwall, she is Guard Captain - most of the time, she can do something. But this ship? She'd be on the same footing as everyone else, just as lost as everyone and unable to do a damned thing for it -
It's not a feeling she likes. ]
Sounds like I'll be doing a lot of throwing, then.

Hawke is impervious to Looks. Good thing too, she gets a lot of them.]
Aveline, I don't think either of us knows how to recognize normal anymore. What would we do with it?
Just be methodical about it, you'll get through them all eventually. Make sure you don't throw the sailors overboard as well, though. They're an unruly lot, but someone's got to sail the ship.
