a voice test of skyward sword prequel manga link here.
[Honestly, while he could gripe or complain? It's not this Link's style to do that. So he'll sigh, frowning a little.]
So... Even dying doesn't stop them from needing me, hmph.

Goddess.

Humans will always need someone to call a hero. It's their nature.
no subject
... I know, they even came to me after locking me up when they needed to use me.
[Nothing happy about his words, no smile on his face. This is the saddest Link.]
no subject
It saddened me greatly to see what they had done to you. I am glad that you were released though.
[If only it hadn't been so fleeting.]
no subject
Yes, I guess that's one thing I could thank the Demon King for.
[But he won't, cause screw the Demon King. Ruining Hylia.]
no subject
I suppose that he did have some positive effect on the land.
[Demise sucks. And needs a bucket of ice water dumped on that flaming head of his.]
no subject
Only one, the rest I think the land could have done without.
[Boo on Demise, although Link is taking the fact that Hylia is here as a good thing. Means that Demise met his demise.]
no subject
Who are you and why do you remind her so much of the green light she sees in her dreams.]
no subject
And okay, he's not used to kids but he'll kneel down so he's at eye level with her.]
Hello there, little one.
no subject
Hello. [Squinting at... She's not used to adults outside of the ones around the castle, but!] You don't have the Spiritual Stone of the Forest, do you?
no subject
Ah, no? I've never heard of a "Spiritual Stone of the Forest".
no subject
[Smiling.]
What's your name?
no subject
[He'll smile right back.]
What's your name then?
no subject
[Hmm. It sounds familiar for some reason, but she can't quite place it. Oh well!]
I'm Princess Zelda of Hyrule. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Link!
no subject
[He may have had... bad blood with a noble back home, but Zelda is just a kid. And she seems weirdly familiar.]
I've never heard of a kingdom called Hyrule though, would you care to tell me about it?
[1/2]
[She loves her country sooooo much that she even sneaks out of the castle sometimes to see it!]
It's very big, and there are many different kinds of people in it. There was a civil war before I was born, but my father united the different races. The Gorons live on Death Mountain - they're big and their leader looks kind of scary, but they're really nice. The Zoras live in their Domain and Lake Hylia - they can't be out of the water for long, so not many people see them often. The Kokiri live in the Forest, but no outsiders can go in there, so no one really knows what they look like. The Gerudo live off in the desert. They... [C'mon think of something not about Ganondorf--] They're mostly ladies, and Impa says they're known thieves. Impa's a Sheikah and my attendant! She protects and takes care of me even though she can be a fuddy-duddy sometimes.
And then there are the Hylians, like me!
[2/2]
Though... you look like a Hylian too, but that wouldn't make any sense if you don't know about Hyrule...
no subject
I haven't heard of Hyrule, yes, and I'm merely a simple human but...
I do know of a Hylia. [No "n" there, Zelda.]
It should be noted that I have no idea how to work knowledge of Hylia into OoT, so uh. herp.
Just... Hylia? Like the lake?
that's okay, Link is just gonna be confuuuused.
No, the land I'm from is called Hylia. Along with the Goddess.
choo choo all aboard the confusion traiiiin
What is Hylia the goddess of?
weeee!
She is Hylia's guardian Goddess... She protects the land that shares her name.
~~/o/
[And she's never heard of a goddess sticking around on the mortal plane.]
... Maybe she visited Hyrule at some point! And my ancestors named the lake after her!
[Not quite, sweetheart, but A for effort.]
no subject
[He sort of laughs at that, not a bad laugh. But an amused one.]
Maybe, maybe. I'm not sure if she's the kind of Goddess to go to other lands, though.
no subject
... Or as seriously as an overly curious ten year old can.]
If she doesn't go to other lands, why do the lake and my people have the same name as her, then?
no subject
You have your dear Goddess to thank for the endless cycle.
no subject
I am not speaking of any cycle, I'm speaking of my player's foolishness.
[His hand may just be going for that sword on his back though.]
no subject
I thought you were referring to the eternity of pain and blood that your dearest Hylia, yourself, and my 'father' orchestrated for your people and - more specifically - your descendants.
no subject
[This Link does not like you, Ganon.]
And I have no descendants, are you sure you're not simply addle brained?
no subject
[No Link likes him. And he likes it that way.]
Perhaps this will lend my words a bit more credence... [He holds his hand to show the Triforce of Power shining on the back of it.]
no subject
... So you're just some mage with flashy tricks.
no subject
Shameful for the 'chosen of the Goddess' to not even recognize the mark of power. The mark that gives me the power rivaling even Din. The mark that makes me superior even to your precious Hylia and Demise.
