I do, actually. Petty enough to conquer kingdoms that aren't your own. Petty enough to strive for an extension of that conquest. Revenge, I think it was for. Revenge is nothing, but pettiness.

Revenge? That is a tool for the weak-minded. It is of no use to gods and kings. No, princess, I have designs far above simple revenge. I saw a world abandoned by its gods. A rich land that was ill used by its slothful stewards. I saw power that was merely waiting to be taken by one deserving to wield it. I seized it and the world opened itself to embrace me.

The world doesn't care for you that much. I don't know who told you that you were actually of some import, but whoever it was informed you incorrectly.

Opened to embrace you. No. You took it upon yourself to do something no one asked you to do. Something no one needed you to do. You sought only to fill yourself with some practicality because without the idea of lording your power over another, you have no worth and no use to anyone or anything.

Do not waste your words. I have spent my entire life well aware of who I am, what my purpose is, and what my destiny holds. Few can ever claim to have this knowledge and certainty.

I suffer my setbacks as they come. But do not count what you experienced as a victory. Whether I am claimed by death, imprisonment, or whatever new form of exile is invented for my sake, I cannot be undone. There is no will as strong as mine. I grow ever stronger, while the light of Hyrule wanes like a dying candle in the night. In the end, there's only one inevitability.
