However, the idea that Zelda is Hylia reborn is... amusing to be sure. How many times has the 'goddess' been used as a pawn in my machinations? I have accomplished what Demise couldn't. I have subjugated even the Goddess herself.

It was necessary. And the Golden Ones had no objection as it was my duty to protect the people of the land and the artifact that they left behind. I simply chose the most effective method of doing so.

[She actually looks shocked and then draws a blade that doesn't look entirely unlike the Master Sword.]

[He smirks again, just taunting her to make a move.] I wonder how he would handle the revelation that you hold a cold piece of steel in higher regard than him.

No, he was damned because your previous incarnation was a bigoted, selfish, foolish and weak demon whose ego was larger than the world.
