A little over a year. I've been to a couple different games before getting left here.

That's what they call them, sir. The games. They're basically different worlds and realities that we're drawn into from our own.

So..what exactly happened in these games?

Well, in one I was among a group of prisoners in a Victorian-esque city. There was very little technology available there, no chance of contacting Earth or the SGC and the stars weren't arranged according to any of our records. It didn't even have the technology to build a DHD or a small Stargate.

In the other... I was in a magic castle.

[Yes. A magic castle. She did just say that.]

Everyone there lost something important to them whether it was an item or a memory. I lost my memories of Jolinar and everything Jolinar left me.

Although the loss of Jolinar's memories doesn't seem so bad...

As much as I hate to say it, yes. A magic castle. I couldn't find any sign of technology being responsible for the things that happened there. Including the sudden appearance of children that looked like their parents.

[Sam and Jack had a baby. Look at the sudden blush on her cheeks.]

She was going to take away my memories of my father, his death and Selmak but changed her mind right before submitting the application.

While my mundane considered it for a time, it is my understanding that I am too old to be sent there. But you should think of it like another world rather than a game.
