Upon searching for castmates for her games

 It's just no good dearheart.

As I keep telling you, is Elphie doesn't want to be found then the won't be. Fiyero is...Fiyero and undoubtably off doing something he thinks best and well I don't think Ama Clutch would care to fight anyone or to be a potential bride. It would be thrillifying to see her once more I suppose.

Or any dear soul who could be kindsational enough to show up and remind me that Oz isn't gone after all.

I do miss it so.

Yours,
Glinda Arduenna Upland or the Upper Uplands
The Goodly Witch of the North.

P.S. I should like to acquire a staff once more, if that would be agreeaful.

[It's been...well, entirely too long since she's seen Glinda. Or anybody, for that matter. The life of a reclusive, moody, insomniac certainly wrecks havoc on one's social life. Elphaba's body goes rigid when she sees her old friend. (Her only friend, if she wants to be sufficiently melodramatic.)

Her body just about withdraws on itself, arms wrap around her chest. It's so unlike her, to be this nervous, to be this unsure.]

Hello, Glinda.

[There's a few ways to respond to this sort of situation. Physical contact. A hug for her friend, or a smack for her enemy. Glinda's the type to slap--Elphaba has personal experience--and she, back in her days of childhood brawling, resulted to surprisingly strong punches. or biting. And then with the more...gentle means of showing affection, well. It's never been Elphaba's strong suit.

So instead, she resorts to sarcasm.]

Yes, well, I looked through the local library for So You're Returning After Faking Your Death: A Helpful Guide for the Most Wanted Terrorist in History, but wouldn't you know it? Fresh out of copies.
