So, a new place, huh? I could get used to it. As long as Lois knows I am doing my job as a reporter as well as exploring this place. If any accidents happen, I know people will call upon Superman to help them. Perry is expecting that report on solar panels by tomorrow so.....you'd better not think about sending me to any games just yet.

Hey, Lois. Uh, no. I don't think so. Unless, I get moved by my mun to some distant place. Maybe Australia. [He was teasing.]

You can't go to Australia! [Ok Lois, tone that down a notch.] You have commitments here, and...a lease! And you couldn't just leave Perry like that. [Even if the 'Planet had a branch in Australia. She's just being pouty, don't mind her and this so totally isn't about her, except that it is.]

Does your Lois know he's Superman yet? My Clark is mainly Season 1

He wouldn't do that, because I....we need him here. Just like you won't leave because that corny as Kansas over developed sense of duty and responsibility won't let you.

No, I know you are a good reporter. You keep up with me most of the time so that says a lot. You wouldn't be my partner if you didn't have talent. [It's hard for her to compliment if it's not a life or death situation, Lois is complex.]

I suppose I should thank you for your support. Being my partner an' all. [He smiled. If it wasn't for Lois, he'd probably end up partenering Kat and that would not go down well.]

I find great stories, and sure sometimes they come with risk. But what is truth worth if you wont risk to get it? That's what we do, it's what Superman does too, he risks more than any of us, everyday.

I do not usually blow it! Ok so sometimes maybe I get a little over zealous and things happen, but I am a top notch reporter!

I don't know, the way he was yelling at Jimmy though... Something must be up. Has he talked more sports analogies than usual? That's his give away that something's bothering him.

I don't know. If he wasn't quoting Elvis then maybe something is up. It could be his wife, Alice or something else. Who knows? [Clark shrugged.]

I have to get this report about solar panels in by tomorrow though. [He sighed.] Have you had any scoops involving the subject or are you working on something else?

No, alternative energy isn't usually my beat, but maybe STAR labs might have some news. Have you called Doctor Kline?

[He was too busy saving a bus load of school kids when their bus crashed into the wall.]

While you were out walking your landlord's dog who is on vacation; Superman just happened to rescue a busload of middle schoolers.

I think this is going to lead in to an expose on the safety of our public transportation system. You know great headline of how safe are the hands we trust our children to?

Ah, that. Yeah, Superman did a good job on saving those kids.

[Brake cable was cut by persons unknown. Other than that, it was an easy rescue.]

Were you there taking notes at the scene, Lois?

The rescue yes, I arrived a few minutes after Superman.

[Momentary distraction by dreamy far off look and sigh.]

I got to see most of it, he selflessly charged right in, tore the door off the back of the bus and got all the kids and the driver out.

I'm waiting to hear back from Metro PD on what they think caused the accident, they were being tighter lipped about it than usual.

Yeah, did the driver know that his brakes were cut? I mean-

-Superman told me about the incident. He found the brakes to be cut and that caused the bus to veer out of control. Someone must have it in for the driver or the bus company. Or, it could be a terrorist or criminal gang at work.

[He smiled then adjusted his glasses.]
