Really? Really? Out of all the names here you could have picked you chose "short tempered?" I do not... okay okay yeah sometimes... fine, I definitely do but you could have picked something cooler. Like what? I don't know, that's your job! I already picked a name for myself, remember?

And is this even such a great idea? I mean, if you haven't noticed I kind of have a lot going on in my life right now (well more than usual anyway) and as much as I like the idea of being in a place where the world and my loved ones aren't constantly in danger and all that, I have a job to do. I can't just abandon it, especially for, as you put it "shits and giggles." So let me just go back home so I can go into space and save the world from a ridiculously powerful army I'm not sure I'm strong enough to defeat.

Huh? Are they getting themselves involved in super fights? Forgetting to run? That's not really their fault. They're too scared to think straight.

Uh no nothing like that. More like...well like forming hate groups and such. Against people like myself who were born with abilities due to a mutated gene. There are a lot of really nasty, really harmful gadgets a person or say...a religious group; with enough hate and enough money can buy.

What? Why? Why would they hate you for that? That's not your fault! It's not like you can help being born with powers.

[Runs his hand through his hair and tugs on the ends.] I was going to say that it's different where I come from, since people had no problem with Aquarus or Savage Dragon, but I'd probably be lying. People can suck.

Well as I've been to a couple now I can say it's pretty standard. It's all in one piece, still run by humans, and has more people with powers than you can swing a stick at... not that it's probably a lot, just seems like it sometimes.

How about you?

Mah world can be pretty chaotic sometimes. Ah already told ya about how some a the Humans don't like us Mutants an there's been a lot of back an forth about that. Some a the Mutants don't like Humans too much either on account of the prejudice and abuse. Seems kinda weird don't it? But some a us don't have powers. They only look different so you get a lot of 'monster' and 'demon' comments.

An a course there's the other Post-Humans who aren't Mutants. Folks like Spider-Man an Iron Man an Captain America. An they all come with their own sets a problems [she laughs. because really what else can she do?]

Ah'm surprised we're still kick'n sometimes.

I still think that doesn't make any sense... But then we'd be talking in circles.

...Wait, you know Spider-Man?

Well Ah wouldn't say we're close but yeah we've run across each other before.

Huh. I wonder if that was your dimension I fell into that time, then. You've got the... uh... Attackers or whatever with their tower? With the guy with the nice shield and bad attitude? And the robot?

Hm. Ah'm gonna go ahead and infer that you mean the Avengers. The guy with the Shield is Captain America and if Ah'm think'n right that wasn't a Robot, it was Iron Man. He's a guy in a tech suit.

Yeah, Avengers. That sounds right. Sorry, that wasn't the best day--though Spider-Man was cool--so the exact details are a little sketchy. So do you work with them? The Avengers?

Well Ah worked with one a them recently. And Ah've fought them in the past. But Ah'm not actually a member of the team. That answer was more complicated than it needed to be wasn't it? [there's an awkward grin and an embarrassed chuckle]

An mah mun seems to be interested in that girl in the pink. Thought y'all should know she's read'n up a storm over here.

[Mark shakes his head at that.] Not really. Sounds like me with the Guardians of the Globe. I'm more the mostly solo act too.

Yeah mostly. An the things that threaten everythin' on the planet too. An sometimes we fight the Mutants who want ta kill or enslave all the Humans an rule over the Earth.

It is. But when the other option is to not do anythin' at all well; you understand that's not somethin' Ah could live with.

[I didn't mind the beginning. Also I finished reading them the day before yesterday. Now I'm just waiting for my husband to read them xD]

I've just been told recently that when I come across something that falls into my... moral gray zone, I guess, I tend let my temper get the better of me instead of thinking things through.

It's something I've been working on.
