Remember those stories about the Hero of Time and how he slept in the Sacred Realm for seven years? This is kinda like it except it's not the Sacred Realm, we ain't asleep and people from all kinds of worlds and times are here.

[So basically: Not like the Sacred Realm at all.]

I'm your ancestor from another timeline apparently. I guess the important part is I'm a hero like you.

Wow. That's amazing. So what's it like in your timeline?

Honestly I'm not sure how no one else has really went in-depth with this idea before xD

Well I can't tell you how it would affect my timeline's version of you but I was raised by the Gerudo rather than the Great Deku Tree. For some reason my mother thought to go to a tribe of women to ask for their help.

There were already tensions between them and their leader, Ganon. So it just took some convincing and her words to get them to take me in.

So I was raised as a thief essentially. No idea how my adventure changed everything else.

A Gerudo Link, who'd thunk it?

Yeah that's what I gathered and I guess there are no desert islands. That wouldn't make a lot of sense.

So what's it like in the desert?

There is very little water, there's sand as far as the eye can see. It's very hot during the days and very cold during the nights.

[He growls as his form distorts and stretches into his more pig-like form.]

[Link backs away from the transformed Ganon, Master sword in hand. But makes no moves to attack.]

But still, you never had a choice. And no one should be forced to be evil.

[And all of what he says is genuine. Sorry Ganon. You may be made of hate, but you're dealing with someone who's practically incapable of hate. Even though one of your incarnations kidnapped his sister and nearly killed him and his friends, he could never hate you or anyone.]

[Ganon summons his trident and stabs at Link.]

I was not forced into anything, you insignificant whelp! I am the one that will transcend the gods themselves!

[And knowing that in itself infuriates him even more. Dare he say the fact that Link couldn't hate makes Ganon hate him even more.]

Demise's curse is the reason you're this way. You were destined to be the bad guy from birth. If that's not being forced into something I dunno what is.

[He knows it's pointless trying to reason with him, but maybe, just maybe, it might make Ganon stop and think for a moment.]
