Dearest -- Mun,

You who are chronicling my life, such as it is. Surely reviewing the movie and the book is more than enough to regain some semblance of my voice. I do not think the miniature series would add anything you can't read for yourself.

Aside from watching Mister Darcy walk out of a pond in drenched clothing.

We can discuss potential ramifications of that later, and whether or not to flesh out my, ah, cinematic canon with the novel once you've finished reading it.

Yours,
E. Bennet

Welcome, Miss Bennett. [Jarvis being terribly polite and proper, he'd fit in well with P&P.] My mun enjoyed the novel very much but found it did not deviate from the cinematic version. [It was still a very good read.]

Indeed. One does like to retell a story as best as one can.

[Introductions probably are in order.] I am Jarvis, an 8th generation AI computer system. How do you do?

In it's basic form, it is a machine programmed to perform certain tasks faster or more efficiently than human beings. An AI or artificial intelligence is one created by a person to mimic the thought processes of a human and is able to think and react without direct instruction necessary.

[Clear as mud?]

I apologize, Miss Bennett. Shall I attempt again?

As you wish. Perhaps we should speak on something else?

[Jarvis is well versed...er...programmed in small talk.]

Has the cold and snow reached your part of the world?

[When in doubt, talk about the weather]

I can't help myself

[personal profile] prejudices 2013-01-31 02:46 pm (UTC)(link)
I beg your pardon?
prejudices: (If only for a moment)

So is he!!

[personal profile] prejudices 2013-02-04 02:15 pm (UTC)(link)
You know exactly what I meant, Miss Elizabeth. Would you care to explain?
prejudices: (the meaning of the word you see)

indeed he does

I imagine the ridicule isn't worth the enlightenment I will receive upon hearing of it.
prejudices: (in short shallow gasps)

[personal profile] prejudices 2013-02-09 01:07 pm (UTC)(link)
I hope you are not offended when I tell you that I find that incredibly surprising of you.
prejudices: (You're still young)

I had wondered whether the pleasure you take in laughing would hinder your ability to resist a chance to tease.

You are well informed. Perhaps it is time to remark upon another subject you have brought to light, do you believe your Mundane to be well intentioned?
prejudices: (And he's Apollo)

[personal profile] prejudices 2013-02-17 08:25 am (UTC)(link)
How gratifying. [That's all he really has to say in response to that. Not going to make it obvious he worries, nope.] What do you mean by particulars?

Her behaviour has been satisfactory thus far, however I cannot speak for her intentions.
prejudices: (Wherever he goes)

That's fine! It happens! btw do you have plurk or anything?

[personal profile] prejudices 2013-02-28 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I am reasonably familiar with the concept, though I cannot imagine an ending more satisfactory than the one currently established. Though, of course, Mundanes seem to enjoy sadness as much as they do happiness.

Seems manageable. But it's easier said than done.
prejudices: (Only heaven knows)

oh no. 8( And aw, that's cool.

I'd rather you come out and ask it than know that you're contemplating a subject I'm unaware of. What is it, Miss Elizabeth?

Mmh. I've come to notice this.
prejudices: (Fallen leaves in the night)

Some time after your initial rejection. [He answers curtly, seething a little at that god forsaken word. Rejection, ugh.] Prior to more recent events. [Such as a second proposal.]

And yourself? [Now he's worried he's made a fool of himself.]

I do. I have made note of the small amount of influence we have.
