A bit of Valentine anxiety...
Relax, Mundane... Even if I don't get to spend this Valentine's Day with any of my beloveds, I will still be fine... somehow. Granted, seeing the magic of love at work is always an unparalleled joy even when I am not directly involved... but I do wish he could be by my side on such a meaningful day. And when I say he... I suppose I really mean them. You know I could never pick a favorite. Not when I love them all so much... The one who is losing his sight to eternal darkness, the one who lost his soul, even the white-haired one I only heard about, and all the happier ones who are free from such tragedy... I love them all in equally infinite amounts, and I hope they are all doing well now that we are apart. Their absences dig bottomless voids in my heart, which I can only hope to fill by imagining that they are safe, wherever they may be... Oh, how I long to see their smiles...!
I suppose I do not need a celebration to give them a demonstration of my love. Even though it means so much to me...
At least, give my love and my regards to their respective Mundanes.
Glory to Team Magma,

You say that as if your complete disrespect for the value of life could possibly be glorified.

...No, you would not understand.

Please. I am nothing like that companion of yours, obsessed with that sea monster. I am nowhere as obtuse, for one.
Tell me what beauty is to you.

Beauty is...potential being reached. This world is rough, but it cannot become beautiful. It cannot reach its full potential, its full power. No, we hold it back. We hold the universe back.
But you would not understand. As I said.

I agree with you that the world is not perfect, but the universe's flawless workings make it so that brave, willing, pure-hearted men can perfect it. You are obviously not one of them if you cannot see and accept as basic a truth as that.

I work to perfect the world. The universe. It is my will, my devotion. I am as you describe and you deny that.

Had I no respect for my predecesors, I would be unable to research as I do. I would have no hope, besides. But I do, because I know this world can be made beautiful again.
