[Hurd wishes she could celebrate this with you, Ram. Oh Users, how she wishes she could. Seeing Tron like that, again, her commanding officer that she'd have followed anywhere...she can't deny how it brought her own feelings surging back up.]

In a better world [she refuses to use the word "perfect"] it would have gone on from there. We would have had our leader back.

But we both know how this ends.

[The smile doesn't fade. It feels good to smile again. She used to do it a lot back in the day, even had a reputation for it at Security. It was one of the things Eckert liked about her.]

I haven't, alas. My User's been letting me languish in a corner and between you and me I've just about had enough of her. [That gets an annoyed eyetwitch out of her.]

I definitely look forward to it, though. I'll be keeping a watch for him at the End of Line.
