[He thought that being found near death in-game by one of his best (and only) friends was going to be the worst thing to happen this week. He was wrong, and he does not even try to keep his distress hidden despite trying to sound positive.]

It will be alright, User. Things will work out in the end. As power hungry as he is, he will get what is coming to him.

[That being said Drive is just going to pluck his two Bits from the air and keep them extra close for forever now. And, for once, Alpha and Beta aren't even going to argue about their sudden lack of freedom.]

[He smiles faintly and unzips his jacket a little to give the Bit some room to hide. Alpha and Beta are already nestled into his hood.

...at this rate, Drive's friends are going to stop by his apartment to make sure he is actually taking care of himself and find it full of Bits. Especially now.]

[Stay as long as you like or until Alpha or Beta discovers you there and decides to evict you. He just zips his jacket up, leaving enough space for his new little friend to come and go as it pleases. It is not the first time he has walked around with a Bit in there.]

[Drive turns his head slightly, just enough to see who it is, and breaths out in a shaky sigh. He has seen too many Bits go the way of that one. Far, far too many, and it never gets any less painful.]

Sometimes they are too brave for their own good...

[Clu has too; the MCP's guards were just as big of dicks as Clu2's. And the fact that this particular bit was implied to be a duplicate of his own? Doesn't help matters. At all.

Yeah... [The arm around your shoulders tightens a bit into a supportive side-hug. If not for trembling bit huddled in the crook of Clu's elbow and pressed firmly against his other side, you would be getting a full-on Flynn-clan hug, fellow bit-frand.

There's a long pause. Then...]

[sounding a bit Rinzlery there, Ram. Nice growl. He's not really in the loop at the moment, what with still being trapped in munspace, but what he's hearing is really derezzing his good humour.]

Think one of the Muns will drag the glitch into grid_lined and let us have a crack at him?

[Meanwhile, Drive, have Ram's trio of baby budlings zipping around with tiny high-pitched Nos. Very not happy.]

[Having absolutely zero combat training and not a violent line of code in his body, Drive cannot be too given over to thoughts of revenge. He feels that Pavel deserves what happens to him, but he won't relish in it.]

[He perks up a little at seeing the trio of miniatures Bits, however. He has not seen any that small since...well, since Alpha and Beta had first been budded from his code. He hesitantly raises his hand and offers it out palm up, his own duo floating closer to their smaller cousins inquisitively.]

[The trio stop zipping around like hummingbirds to hover curiously over Drive's hand. This was the same way program-with-teeth-and-curls said hello! They bump against his fingers, but there's no energy coating them like last time, aw. Middle-bit Nos sadly. Left-bit and Right-bit meanwhile are very omg wat do about the larger ones. They just hover there uncertainly and crowd their sibling.]

[Anon says nothing, but sits down beside Drive and wraps an arm around his shoulders. Gamma zips out from where it's been hiding in Anon's disc and cuddles up to Drive. Drive is its program too, even if Anon technically owns it.]

[Drive collects Gamma just as quickly as he did Alpha and Beta and cuddles the trio to his chest, slumping against Anon wearily. He has had a lot taken out of him recently, and just the thought of losing one of his Bits - including Gamma - is too painful.]
