is replaying / might be looking???
[ a tilt of the head.
of course she didn't go anywhere, why are you looking at her like that?
don't mind her flopping ungracefully onto the ground, lying on her side. there might also be a slow whine.
can you at least feed her before you start her adventure??? oh and do you have some paper and a brush? how do you expect her to talk. have a bark in concern! oh, a nap sounds nice right about now.]

still, a tilt of the head. you're different. ]

there's a pause, before a circle of flowers appears below her floating form. that looks a bit better. ]

[ And how true it is. This is her world she made, all those years ago, and Amaterasu is the light. ]

the only thing she can do best is to care for that world she made.
a long pause.
a stomach growl. ]

Well, well, look at you! Little Miss Fancypants in the flesh.
[He blinks his eyes wildly.]
What's a matter, toots? Life gotcha down?
no subject
she's sleepy -- and rather hungry too.
she might be inching slowly on her belly towards you, sniffing. in short, sir, you must feed her. she can't go on like this. if only she had some paper. ]
no subject
Oh puh-lease! [Izuna rolls his eyes at her.] Cut off the dramatics, sweetheart. I know what you want.
[With just the snap of his fingers, a bucket filled with tasty fried chicken appears at the courtesy of his mun. Yeah, he gets VIP treatment from this broad here.
Izuna's totally living the life.]
Eat up before you actually do croak.

after she's done, amaterasu has only one thing left to do: burp.
once that's done, hope you don't mind a circle of flowers forming around your feet, a little thank you from the mother goddess. at least she can write on the bowl, it's better than no paper.
thank you!]
no subject
Hrm? Flowers?
[Izuna kneels down and picks up one of the colorful posies before giving it a sniff.]
Impressive! They smell real.
[Aw! Well, would you look at that! The lady is a class act all the way. Izuna is all smiles.]
You're welcome. Just make sure your mun doesn't starve you next time, hon.

she writes again:
a fox spirit?
it's been some centuries since she'd met a fox that wasn't feral, and most recent, ninetails that was actually friendly. ]
no subject
Hey, what are you writing? [He peers at her as she forms the characters.] Oh so you've noticed!
[The fox chuckles lightly.]
Indeed, I am! The name's Izuna, and trust me--I already know who you are.
[Being that he was exiled long ago to a higher plane of existence, there's hardly anything that Izuna doesn't know. He's literally an entity comprised out of thousands and thousands of tiny lil data that flows from this realm to the next. The Backyard, as they call it, forms the very world they're standing within now. Call it magic or call it science, the Backyard is a mysterious place and Izuna's rather mysterious.]
Lemme guess you don't run into many fox spirits, right?
no subject
I knew when you looked at me that you did. Were you surprised?
I feed the little foxes who are hungry, but it's been many years since I've met one who I haven't faced in battle. The last went by the name of Ninetails. ]
no subject
A fox spirit named "Ninetails"? That's not very creative at all! Though it doesn't surprise him. Most of his kind, no offense to other fox spirits, are either stuck up or just plain boring. Hell, he's one of the few who actually grew a personality over the years.
While he's a little quirky at times, Izuna at least isn't boring.]
Can't say I would remember a bloke by that name. But if he didn't leave a good impression on ya, then I will!
[He grins.]

i am not distrustful by nature, you have given me food, you needn't prove yourself to me.
the voice coming from her is far more mature than..the rest of her is. her tongue lolls out of her mouth, tilting her head.
what do they call you? ]
no subject
She really is the Goddess of the Sun, isn't she? He's speaking with a deity? For real? Oh man, wait tell he tells Sin about this! The kid is not going to believe him at all.
Maybe he should take a picture.]
You've already forgotten my name, my fair lady?
[He's back to normal with a goofy smile upon his face.]
I was named "Izuna" by a nameless mother.
no subject
....And potentially wondering if he could pet you without getting bitten. Your fur looks so soft, aah.]

He comes a bit closer, grinning at Amaterasu, one hand carefully coming to rest on her head.]
Hiiii. I'm Kotetsu!
no subject
no subject
I wonder if you've got a name, too. Though I guess you're not a pet, huh?
[Kotetsu's never had a pet of his own, and doubts he'll ever get to play with anyone else's--not when he's a freak like he is, with his powers that just break everything and hurt people around him. Even this can only last until the next time he starts glowing blue...so he wants to enjoy it while it lasts.]
no subject
here's the fun part where someone gives her a nickname!!! she'll whine happily at the pettings though. yes, good. ]
no subject
[It's too bad he doesn't have a camera on him. He'd love to take a picture and show Muramasa later. He'd probably find her cool, too. Kotetsu digs around in his schoolbag--there happens to be a notebook in there with blank sheets of paper--and digs out a candy bar he'd forgotten to eat at lunch.]
Hey, d'you want it? I'm probably not s'posed to give human food to animals, but I won't tell if you don't!
