My dear Lady Mun--
Though I've no doubt your intentions are kind, are you certain this is the way to keep me safe? Another universe... it hardly seems real.
I will do as you command, of course. I only pray that your decision is wise.
Signed,
Lady Sansa

That is good to hear. There is plenty to do that does not involve violence.

I prayed for him.
[Even now, away from the Lannisters, she can't say aloud exactly what she prayed for, that he'd come to King's Landing and kill Joffrey and her lord husband all the Lannisters and bring Sansa safely away, safely home, wherever that could be now. She knows she's gone from King's Landings and all its birds and spiders, but she's grown so used to always being watched, she can't risk speaking treason, even now. Even admitting she prayed for Robb and not Joffrey took some effort.]

He'll kill Joffrey. He promised.
[He promised Arya many things. But he still left all the same.]

What do you mean?

[It could not be much worse than her current situation.]

At the wedding. He-- he choked. [On his pie, or so she'd thought until she saw the little missing amethyst in her hair net. The hair net she still has in her cloak pocket. But who could have managed it? She would never have expected it of Ser Dontos. As kind as he'd been to her, as cruel as Joffrey had been. Sansa shakes her head.] It all happened so fast. I had to get away...

[The shock is a mixture of the timing and well, this is Sansa. Sansa isn't like Arya. She's more the type to hide in plain sight and not take action like that.]

Yes, ser. I am glad to know she's safe.

Yes ... yes, I'm sure it is. For what it is worth, I've heard that your half-brother still lives up on the wall.
[He'd want to give his condolances, but he has a feeling the last thing she wants is to be reminded of her parents and siblings that are no longer with her.]

Yes, my Lord. He is a man of the Night Watch, and not a part of this war.

It's good advice, my Lady.

Yes ... he's had his own war up there. Although for once, it seems that the people who deserve it have come out on top. If only the rest of the world worked that way.
[He chuckles and shakes his head.]
I can't help but wonder what would of happened if we'd been married. King's Landing would have fallen, that's almost certain. And without Joffrey, our support would have gone to the North- where it should have gone ... maybe the Red Wedding would never have happened. Maybe the Lannisters would pay for causing all this with their greed and ambition ...
Maybe, I should stop brooding.
[He says, a little annoyed with himself, now that he thinks all of this out.]
It doesn't do any good to sit here moping.

When I came back to Westeros to find Robb, I went with Lord Raven. He can turn into a great bird the size of a dragon. [He can actually turn into a dragon, but he's only done that once. So, that doesn't merit mention.] I was able to ride on his back to Riverrun and fly higher than anyone could see

Lord Raven. Is he... a warg?

This will last approximately a week.]No, he's an archaeopteryx.
[Duh, Sansa.]

She doesn't know much of Willas, save what his grandmother and sister had said. He certainly seems kinder than the Lannisters. And he's far handsomer than Tyrion, though that's not saying much.]
I've thought of it too, my lord. I'm certain you'd have been a wonderful husband.

I'd think you more suited to the Highgarden as well. King's Landing always felt so ... bloodthirsty to me. It always felt like there was a blade at your back, even when among friends, waiting for you to cease your use.
[There is always danger where people play the Game of Thrones. People are used as pawns, and discarded just as readily.]
I hold no illusions that some of my family may be of that same morally-bankrupt political leaning, but I've not seen them go to the dark depths the Lannisters have. I've hope that some day they'll realize there are more important things than a throne. Small things. A good book, a warm hearth, a horse to ride ... maybe I'm just overly sentimental, but I like to think I have some merit.

A what?

It's a type of bird.
